How to Get Curated

Getting curated on TravelFeed is a great way to boost your visibility and earn rewards.

Prerequisites

All posts on TravelFeed are eligible for curation, but if you want your post to get upvotes on Hive, make sure you have connected a Hive account to earn rewards. With a connected Hive account, every post you publish on TravelFeed is automatically posted to Hive.

What Does It Mean to Get Curated?

  • Top 5 Posts: Every day, the top 5 posts receive a full upvote (10 smiles) from TravelFeed. Posts outside the top 5 can still receive a lower upvote.
  • Hive Upvotes: You’ll also get upvotes from curators who follow our curation trail, leading to substantial rewards.
  • Featured Posts: Daily top picks are featured on TravelFeed’s front page and reblogged on Hive for more exposure.

Submitting Your Post

  • Post through TravelFeed (recommended): All posts posted from TravelFeed are automatically reviewed by our curation team.
  • Post through other Hive frontends: Use the code snippet generated by our map picker in your post. Hive posts without our code snippet are not added to TravelFeed and not considered for curation.

Quality Requirements for Posts

To be considered for curation, your post must meet the following criteria:

  • Original Content: Only original posts are accepted.
  • Language: Post must be in English, Polish, Spanish, or German, with the correct language selected.
  • Word Count: Minimum of 250 words.
  • Media and Texts: Use only your own media and texts, or those you have permission to use (e.g., CC0 license, public domain).
  • Attributions: Provide attributions for any media or texts that are not your own.
  • Travel-Related Content: Only travel-related posts are accepted.
  • No Reposts: Do not repost previous TravelFeed content.
