My friends and I decided to go to every floor in Parco Shibuya, one of the big malls around Shibuya Station. We didn't have any particular destination, we just want to roam around and check out. Maybe we'd find what we're looking for.
We reached the 7th floor, and this floor is a heaven for otakus! They have the Pokemon Center, Jump Shop, Capcom Store and many more. I've been here ages ago and at that time I went to the Jump Shop. I didn't buy anything though, only window shopping but shopping in that small area with lots of customers was so impossible. I thought I'd be back but it's been a while since I've stepped foot in here.
We came not for those stores though but we're here for something I didn't know or rather I couldn't relate before. We had no plans of going inside but it's too tempting so here we were, enjoying Nintendo Tokyo!
If you're on this floor, you'll surely not miss Nintendo Tokyo because its location is in a prime spot - in the middle. There were lots of customers and people of all ages came to enjoy the shop.
There were lots of characters here. They grouped the games per section so it's easy to recognize them. And I've noticed, there are small islands (or whatever you call them) that have the characters in big statues (or big figures?).
The most popular game character of all time - Mario is here! He's got his beard and big smile and this fun pose, as if telling us to enjoy shopping here.
Of course, there were so many Mario stuffed toys. But there were also stuffed toys of other characters like Luigi, Toad with different colors of his mushroom head and Yoshi of different colors.
There were snacks too like cookies and chocolates from the same Mario franchise. Besides that, there were stationeries too. And not just that, there were some nice-to-have stuff like pen holder, coasters and many more. Everything is just so cute!
Some items I couldn't recognize their uses but I'm pretty sure it's useful.
These cute plates and bowls were so nice looking I wanted to get them for a collection. Then I remembered I didn't have a place for them to store so nevermind.
If you're familiar with the famous games in Nintendo, you'd be able to recognize these characters.
This character was from Animal Crossing and of course, this section was full of the goods from the game. Do you know the name of this character? Honestly, I don't know because I've never played this game. I know, I think I'm missing out. 😂
This was the Splatoon corner. Their goods are full of colors! They even have gears and those big gloves. I haven't played the game (booo!) yet so I wasn't so familiar with these.
There's also the Pikmin corner! I've become familiar with them not because I played it in Switch but because of the Pikmin Bloom game on mobile. I even posted about it here before. They're so cute as ever!
I even found these cute hoodie! I want one of course so I could become a Pikmin! 😂 But I think they don't have my size.
The last corner - can you guess what? It's a popular game in Switch and I'm also playing this game (not currently though, because I've been busy but I'll be back for sure).
It's the Zelda section! Link's statue (or figure) is so big and he looks cool in his simple pose.
There were so many items in here and they even have a bag full of the game's merch.
There were lots of Koroks here! I thought of getting one but probably next time.
Zelda probably had the coolest designs of their notebooks. I was almost tempted to buy one but I realized I shouldn't collect notebooks and left them for dust this time. Next time then. 😂
There's a section for all the figures grouped by games. I've only seen the Zelda figures though because there were so many people in this area. If you're into collecting figures, you'll surely like this area.
Lastly, there's a game experience corner. Using the Ring Fit, one could try to play the game and it's for free. I saw one muscular guy trying to do the exercises game in Ring Fit Adventure, and reminded me to play the game again if I wanted to be fit like him. 😅
I urged my friends to try the game experience but they were too shy to do it in front of a big crowd. I have this game at home but I haven't invited my friends here anymore because the space in our house is too limited for us to play the game. Probably when we move to another home and have enough space to play, I could invite them and we can all play together.
Nintendo is super big around here. Even outside the floor, in the terrace area, you could see Mario in lego and this question mark box famous in the game.
My friend was the only one who bought items among the 4 of us, impulsively I think. 😅 He got this box and only after shopping you will be able to see what's inside. This one has 6 different designs, you'll be lucky if you get one of each if you buy 6 boxes.
Maybe the next time I'll come here, I'll shop for merch. Who knows, next time, maybe I'd be able to get some goods for myself like those coasters from the Mario game or those notebooks from Zelda.
Happy Friday, Happy #MarketFriday!
