Mis queridos amigos viajeros Maracaibo posee mucha historia que nos traslada a ese tiempo de antaño, las iglesias de mi ciudad me encanta recorrerlas y mas esas que forman parte de la gran historia de la ciudad, esta vez me fue a visitar la iglesia Santa Lucia aprovechando que tenía una actividad en la misma, se encuentra justamente ubicada en el barrio "El empedrao", en Santa Lucia este barrio se estima ser el mas antiguo de Maracaibo y es bastante pintirezco en la cupula central de este barrio pidemos encontrar la Iglesia Santa Lucia, la misma fue edificada en un estilo neoclásico, bastante hermosa e impresionante e historica ya que en conjunto con otras iglesias es una de las más antiguas de la localidad.
My dear friends travelers Maracaibo has a lot of history that takes us to that time of yesteryear, the churches of my city I love to visit them and more those that are part of the great history of the city, this time I went to visit the church Santa Lucia taking advantage of having an activity in it, it is located in the neighborhood "El empedrao", in Santa Lucia this neighborhood is estimated to be the oldest of Maracaibo and is quite pintirezco in the central cupola of this neighborhood we ask to find the Santa Lucia Church, it was built in a neoclassical style, quite beautiful and impressive and historical because in conjunction with other churches is one of the oldest in the town.
Justamente al llegar se puede observar que la misma ubica toda una esquina done se dispone el gran templo parroquial, conjuntamete con la casa cural y salones de la iglesia, esta iglesia esta pintada de un colir turquesa, bastante hermosa siempre la habia observado desde afuera pero no la había apreciado por adentro estas tiene alrededor de 5 puertas, las cuales una grande central en todo el medio que conduce directamene al altar, dos puertas laterales mas pequeñas, en cada lado derecho e izquierdo existen dos puertas donde los feligreses pueden acceder, cabe destacar que estas puertas no estan elaboradas con madera sino de en hierro, al entrar puedes observar las esaleras que esta poseen que permiten subir hacia una terraza dentro de la iglesia que permite tener una vista panorámica herosa del lugar sagrado.
Just upon arrival you can see that it locates a whole corner where the great parish church is located, conjuntamete with the rectory and halls of the church, this church is painted in a turquoise color, quite beautiful I had always observed from outside but had not appreciated it inside these has about 5 doors, which a large central one in the middle that leads directly to the altar, two smaller side doors, on each right and left side there are two doors where parishioners can access, it is noteworthy that these doors are not made of wood but of iron, upon entering you can see the esaleras that this have to go up to a terrace inside the church that allows a beautiful panoramic view of the sacred place.
Al entrar a la iglesia comienza la verdadera aventura fascinante del lugar, puesto que en su interior posee una arquitectura bastante linda, ya que esta posee bases colorida de amarillo que estas están formando bases triangulares, bastante hermosas se distribuyen a lo largo de todo el altar, como tambien en cada parte lateral es bastante fascinante ya que es de esas pocas iglesias de Maracaibo que posee esa arquitectura totalmente hermosa e impresionante.
Upon entering the church begins the real fascinating adventure of the place, since inside it has a very nice architecture, as this has colorful yellow bases that these are forming triangular bases, quite beautiful are distributed throughout the altar, as well as in each side is quite fascinating because it is one of those few churches in Maracaibo that has a totally beautiful and impressive architecture.
La iglesia posee un reliquia en primer grado de San Benro de Palermo así como también varias grutas de San José, la virgen del Carmen, Santa Teresita del Niño como también San Antonio de Padua, justamente en el altar se encuentran las imagenes de Santa Lucia esta gran martir de la iglesia que perdio sus ojos en tiempos antiguos para defender la fe, quien se le atribuye la creencia de la visión ya que puede garantizar milagros.
The church has a first degree relic of Saint Benro of Palermo as well as several grottoes of Saint Joseph, the Virgin of Carmel, Saint Therese of the Child as well as Saint Anthony of Padua, just on the altar are the images of Saint Lucia this great martyr of the church who lost her eyes in ancient times to defend the faith, who is attributed the belief of the vision because it can guarantee miracles.
Por último esta hermosa iglesia también posee los columbarios donde se disponen a reposar las cenizas de los fieles difuntos, el columbario se encuenyra en el extremo derecho de iglesia dentro del mismo templo parroquial, esta iglesia posee elementos bastante hermosos como lo son los hermosos candelabros de cristales que posee los cuales estan distribuidos en toda la iglesia , este hermoso elemento refleja la antiguedad de la iglesia que viene del siglo dieciocho.
Finally this beautiful church also has the columbarium where the ashes of the faithful deceased are laid to rest, the columbarium is located on the far right side of the church within the same parish church, this church has quite beautiful elements such as the beautiful crystal chandeliers which are distributed throughout the church, this beautiful element reflects the antiquity of the church that comes from the eighteenth century.
