Going to Tagbilaran City from our town, we would often pass by Loay and there's this restaurant that my husband and I had been planning on stopping by for a meal. We finally got the chance to go last week. Intentionally, we starting traveling at around ten in the morning so that we could drop by the restaurant for lunch.

The restaurant's name is RV Heights Cafe. They have a spacious parking space as we entered into their vicinity, it's a bit uphill going inside though and one has to take the stairs from the highway. But what I liked about it is the beautiful raw garden. It's place isn't obsessively arranged but it has its raw beauty with the Bougainvillaea plants blooming! They also got a wall filled with potted herbal plants! I liked the idea!

As we entered the restaurant from their back entrance, we found it to be extra neat, it has wooden furniture, tabletops were made of vinyl planks which was looking nice!

I noticed that they actually have a huge space in three parts. One facing the ocean as it has an overlooking view, then there's one part to the bar, and another one on the other side of the cafe.

There's a nice set of chairs with a coffee table with a lot of marbles inside this huge jar and it attracted Matti very much that he had been holding on the glass jar for a while. Matti has a collection of marbles too and these were similar to those which were inside the jar!

The staff were really friendly and approached us to find our own table. We decided to take the table at the bar area. After taking our orders, Matti and my husband went to check out the playground area. They got a swing and a seesaw too!

The father and son had a little bonding moment at the playground and I was busy also taking photos of them and clips too! I somehow love that this place have a solemn and very quite environment! I also like the view of the ocean and the S-curve road! This is just in the highway so we could hear buses and vehicles passing by but for some reasons, I didn't feel like it was noisy.

It didn't take long for our orders to arrive. I think it only took 15 minutes for them to serve. I thought it was because there were only a few customers around. In fact, there were only two other tables occupied and they have a staff who was on the lookout to see if the customers need anything.

James, my husband ordered hot chocolate. He was quite satisfied with the taste, it wasn't too sweet so he said it was good! This costs less than a hundred pesos!

Of course, I also have to order my coffee! They served it with a french press! I immediately poured some into my cup but then I realized, it would be better to take a photo of it while someone is pouring it instead so I requested my husband to do it for me while I take a photo. It was served with fresh milk and sugar on separate containers. I was glad that the staff were able to give me my requests.

They used Bohol roasted coffee beans by the way, unfortunately, I forgot the brandname.

Next is this crispy chicken fillet which has a sweet and spicy sauce. You can never go wrong with anything that has breadcrumbs! We ordered this for our little one who's very picky! He ate only a few bites though so we had to ask for the rest to be taken out so he can eat more in the car.

We also got a plate of carbonara with a generous amount of bacon and ham on top of the pasta! It was served with toast and I gave the bread to the little one which was the only thing that he finished in this meal! It's just so challenging to get this toddler to eat. He usually loves crispy stuff but I was surprised when he desired the bread more than the breaded fillet.

Last on the table is their Thai Salad! This was really good! I was curious about the combination of grilled chicken breast into a combo of cucumber, tomatoes, and spring onions. I requested that they do not make it too spicy which they did! There were peanuts in there too and I was truly delighted with this salad especially that they put in there a lot of chicken strips! I will surely order this again in our future visits!

RV Heights Cafe didn't disappoint us so I am sure that this won't be our last! We still have a lot of other options on the menu that we need to try out. I am glad my cousin reminded me of the restaurant a few days before we went to Tagbilaran so we intentionally visited it that time. For sure we will apply the same travel time in the future so we can stop by again.
