Busy Wednesday Hivians!

Are you feeling the need to unwind in the middle of the week?

Lemme take you to a place where the mountain, the sky and the sea meets.

Who's in for a road trip?

Are you excited?
Okay stay put, let's go for a ride!
No need for a long hike or ride on a boat to see this beautiful natural scenery.
And it's only 10 minutes drive away from the town proper.
Yup you heard it right! 10 minutes quick ride!

Our destination is this small port in Bongalon, Sagñay, Camarines Sur.
We ride a motorcycle going there.
Once you arrived at the entrance of the port. Here's the view that will welcome you!

The port itself is no longer operational, since it was built facing the Pacific Ocean, it was hit by typhoons numerous times causing the huge cracks in the concrete structures. They still allowed fishing there. Which reminds me to bring fishing rods next time we go there. Boat and ferries are not allowed to use the dock. Aside from fishing, you can also set up a tent and camp. The sunrise at this part the beach is also magnificent!

It is good place to go if you just want to be with nature, feel the breeze of the sea and filled your eyes with the beautiful view of the mountain. The water is clear the you can see the little fish swimming in between the rocks.

Visiting this part of the town is therapeutic for me. The sound of the soft waves is soothing. The place is also abundant in mangroves so you will be greeted with the chirping sound of the birds too.

The last time we visited here, it took us 3 hours before going home and half of that time we spent sitting and soaking our feet in the water and talking about anything under the sun.
