I am not used to writing very long posts, because I know we are all busy and I like to make your life easier, and mine as well, but I think this post is necessary. I want the first post I make on travel feed to have these spectacular views to see if they enchant you as much as they did me.
No soy de escribir post muy largos, porque sé que todos andamos ocupados y me gusta hacerte la vida más fácil, y de paso a mí también, pero creo que este post es necesario. Quiero que la primera publicación que realice en travel feed tenga estas vistas espectaculares a ver si te enamoran tanto como a mí.
And well, on to the point. Where is it? Cuba, that's the first piece of information you need to know, the second is El Campismo La Mula. How do you get there? Well, first you must arrive in Santiago de Cuba and then travel the southern circuit road to the campsite.
Y pues bueno, a lo que vamos. ¿Dónde es? Cuba, es el primer dato que tienes que saber, el segundo es El Campismo La Mula. ¿Cómo se llega? Pues primero debes llegar a Santiago de Cuba y luego recorrer la carretera del circuito sur hasta el campismo.
What are the conditions of the campsite? No luxuries and in our experience, we had no electricity except for three hours at night due to the country's fuel situation. Still, you can reserve your food at the restaurant or bring your own if you prefer to cook in a communal kitchen.
¿Cuáles son las condiciones del campismo? Nada de lujos y en nuestra experiencia no tuvimos fluido eléctrico más que tres horas en horario de la noche debido a la situación que hay en el país con el combustible. Aun así, puedes reservar tu comida en el restaurante o llevar la tuya si prefieres cocinar en una cocina colectiva.
All this that I tell you was not a problem for me, I was a bit frustrated at the beginning with the lack of electricity because I needed to charge my cell phone after creating content and taking photos, but I managed to make the most of its performance and get by as best I could.
Todo esto que te cuento anteriormente para mí no fue problema, me frustré un poco al comienzo con la falta de electricidad, porque necesitaba cargar mi celular luego de estar creando contenido y haciendo fotos, pero supe aprovechar bien el rendimiento del mismo y me las apañe como pude.
The main attraction is the landscapes, the river, and the sea, which accompany you at all times with their peculiar sound as the waves break, since instead of sand, the beach is full of stones polished by the constant friction of the water. Oh, and I almost forgot to tell you that there is no connection here and very little coverage area, so keep that in mind if you need internet connection, there isn't any.
El mayor atractivo son los paisajes, el río y el mar, que en todo momento te acompaña con su peculiar sonido cuando rompen las olas, debido a que en lugar de arena, la playa está llena de piedras pulidas por la constante fricción del agua. Ah, y se me olvidaba decirte que aquí no hay conexión y muy poca área de cobertura, así que tenlo en cuenta si necesitas conexión a internet, no hay.
What is there? Anon fruits, Anoncillo, Mango that you can pick straight from the trees and taste on the spot, enormous mountains that challenge you to explore all the time, and an endless number of trails leading to water pools from the Turquino River. That was my second discovery of the trip, the famous river, it's not called La Mula, as I thought, but Rio Turquino, because it is supposed to come from the highest peak of Cuba itself.
¿Qué hay? Frutas de Anón, Anoncillo, Mango que puedes tomar directo de los árboles y degustar al momento, montañas enormes que te desafían a explorar todo el tiempo, y un sin fin de senderos que te llevan a posas de agua provenientes del río Turquino. Ese fue mi segundo descubrimiento del viaje, el famoso río, no se llama La Mula, como tenía entendido, sino Río Turquino, porque se supone que viene desde el mismo pico más alto de Cuba.
Why do I come to this place so often? First, because I love adventure, I can adapt to being in a hotel and comfort, but I also love adventure and experiencing a more minimalist life. Second, because I have friends whose family live in this area and they come all the time, so whenever we can, we join them. And last but not least, because I love taking beautiful photos and videos and sharing them with you.
¿Cómo es que vengo tanto a este lugar? Primero porque amo la aventura, me adapto a estar en un hotel y el confort, pero también amo la aventura y experimentar una vida más minimalista. Segundo, porque tengo unos amigos cuya familia viven en esta zona y ellos vienen todo el tiempo, así que nosotros siempre que podemos nos sumamos. Y última, pero no menos importante, porque amo hacer fotos y videitos lindos y compartirlos contigo.
