Hello everyone

I hope you all are doing fine. It's my first time posting in this community, i used to post in pinmapple and made it to top 3 with my last blog in their ending days :). And finally i had a tour to the beautiful side of Pakistan which now suits the worldmappin community best. Glad to make my first post here and also excited to share my journey with you people.

Our journey started around few days ago and the plan included exploring some areas like shahdra, arangkel, neelum so i will not stop after posting about the arangkel but will keep you updated with the journey of neelum and shahdra too...

Let me tell you people one thing that there are two places out of which one is called kel and then above it is a village named arangkel which is our designation for today. The road towards kel was quite busy and it was also risky to drive your own car on that road (unless you are an expert driver) that's why we dropped our car in the parking and hired a professional jeep. But we saw some people going on their own cars :(.

While our way towards kel this comes in between and why is it catchy? Any guesses? There were mountains and trees and lakes everywhere but why showing this area 🤔. This place is famous because of that human face like mountain on the road side. To be honest my cousin caught the sight and told us otherwise we were gonna be unaware of that.

While we reached near kel there was another surprise waiting for us. To go to arangkel you have two options either do some hiking and go by your feet or there is a chairlift which you can use to go there. Now this was going to be an horrible experience either way. I never wanted myself to be shown as coward but my inner self was praying that hiking is ok... Why i wasn't ready for chairlift? Lemme justify you at least.

zoomed in pic☠️

I hope you people now be having some idea why i wasn't willing to take the chairlift. And i think that was my lucky time as there was so much crowd of people waiting for chairlift:). I was happy as we were going by feet then.

Finally we were on the pull connecting to the arangkel village. To be honest this journey (the hiking) wasn't much nice for me as my legs really hurt after it. But the good thing was that we finally reached there...

Finally i was above that bridge capturing it with a smile that i conquered ya...

Entrance of the village

Guys, you aren't gonna believe your eyes after looking at the village 😍. This felt like we visited some kind of heaven which is present on earth.

village name on entrance

This already showed me that people living here would be really nice as no bad people put effort in decorating their village like this. As i moved forward my heartbeat increased as i always heard of it as a beautiful place but never had an idea that it would be some kind of heavenly location.

I know many people here are unfamiliar with this side of Pakistan as they only think Pakistan is some kind of junk place. Their is no doubt in that as it is globally presented in such a way but believe me this is also Pakistan. The people there were so simple and nice that they welcomed us and asked us to stay in their home as the hotels there were quite expensive.

We refused to stay with them as we knew they all were locals struggling with their own finances so we never wanted to be a burden. One more alarming thing was that there was no good source of electricity in the area but the people there were still happy and having their own life.

some houses in the village

You can see the houses in the village and can have idea from the infrastructure that how simply they are built. We coming from advanced areas would see these buildings like some simple buildings but these are the shelters for the locals here.

And telling you about the houses the hotels there were quite expensive. Despite not much resources there but still they were expensive.

While exploring the village i noticed one more thing that tourists brought there tents along with them to avoid these expensive hotels. They might be regular tourists of the place as we had no idea if there will be such expensive residential places.

cattle house?

I wasn't sure about this place as i noticed some wood protection around a piece of land so guessed that it must be the place for cattle of locals for the night stay. The place was quite peaceful so no fear of anything bad.

There were these women (mostly) taking care of their crops which on inquiry i got to know it was the corn crop. And now was the time to investigate their water source as i mentioned earlier there was no proper source of electricity.

Finally i discovered some pathways of natural water coming from the mountains. Might be mini glaciers melting above (place is already on much height) but i don't know exactly from where the water comes. Village people told me it comes from mountains and that was obvious (simple people).

Finally, i sat down where this horse was having some good time. I really loved watching the scene and captured it for you people. I decided to had some rest and after that i joined my cousins. That was all for you people as i had to spend some quality time too.

Well, that's all from my side.

             GOODLUCK AND BEST WISHES 👌
