I saw big Loggerhead turtles in the place where they laid their eggs, and hunted big blue crabs! Today!
We just returned from one more day trip. It was not much activity at all, but I got so many "first times" :D : D <3
This crab is not very big, and it was safe to hold it :)) We were "fishing" them on Dalyan river, took photos and let them go. We caught so many of them, it seemed they just love our good chicken bait and came back again for it.
Then, we moved on to the beach where river flows into Mediterranean. It is a place of birth of the turtles. They are so gorgeous, big and .... I'm still delighted. Once in 2 years they came here to lay eggs on the beach. The stuff of the reserve come here every morning and check, and secure eggs from people and seagulls.
And when we came from the beach and got on the boat, we saw turtles in the waters around us, it was unforgettable. But I have no pics on the phone, so .... we all have to wait when I got home.
Also, we saw Kaunos - an ancient Anatolian city and tombs cut in the rock.
And, of course, a good dinner, and then mud bathing. Not a big fan of it, but I tried it too more because of a chance to get a cold shower :D
