Ko Chang is located in the Gulf of Thailand on the east coast of Thailand near the border with Cambodia. With 429 km² it is the second largest island in Thailand after Ko Phuket (492 km²).
The island is about 30 kilometers long and a maximum of 13 kilometers wide.
Location of the Aana Resort: Near a small fishing village, approx. 150 m across the lagoon from a beach club, consists of a wild, romantic tropical forest and mountain landscape. The hotel is right near a river.
Facilities: Small, family-run boutique resort with 71 rooms. WLAN internet connection (for a fee). The restaurant with a beautiful terrace is located directly above the river and offers Thai and European delicacies. The hill bar on the top floor with a view of the entire resort spoils you with light dishes during the day. Small shop. Two swimming pools with sun terrace. Beach bar on the beach (approx. 5 min. Boat ride). Loungers, parasols and bath towels are available at the pool.
With the canoe you can make wonderful excursions through the lagoon along the beach to the open sea.
Since the water is very clear, you can watch the fish very well from the canoe.
