Hey there my Steemit friends! In this Travel Pro Places of Interest Series we focus on specific places of interest for a given location. This may come in the form of parks, museums, beaches, cathedrals, and much more. Always an interesting series and always informative!
Beypazari is a small town of about 40,000 residents located an hour outside of the Capital city of Ankara. A few days a week everyone comes together and a market suddenly appears seemingly out of no where. I was fortunate enough to be here on the right day, and I certainly made the best of it.
I love markets! Everyone one here was very social and in a good mood. I got a bit of extra attention being the only white guy around and the only guy taking photos. The locals were happy to pose for the camera and I got some great shots.
The produce looked good however they didn't have the largest variety and there certainly was not any pork being sold here as Turkey is a Muslim country. Overall it was a great market and the prices certainly were cheap, however I was not looking to buy a pound of carrots or a bag of chili peppers; regardless it was a very nice experience being there. Now come along and let's have a taste of what it was like in this two part series of the market place in Beypazari Turkey!
THANK YOU
