Hey there my Steemit Friends! In this Travel Pro Series we focus on significant monuments, structures, buildings, and general architecture of a given area. Everywhere in the world is different from the way people look and speak, to the food they eat, to customs, traditions, all the way down to the buildings they live in. My favorite thing to do is simply walk around and take in the environment of each place I visit. So this series gives you an idea of what that may be like and how influential these structures really are.

Beypazari is an old Turkish town about an hour outside of the countries capital, Ankara. With a population of about forty thousand the town is small and cozy, yet big enough to have a good variety of shops and restaurants. The city of Ankara feels like a world away; modern and busy with the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Here in Beypazari things are slowed down, slowed way down and I believe the architecture even depicts this.

Again compared to the capital, this is much more of an old world traditional place with more emphasis on the Muslim religion. People live simpler lives here and live in simpler structures. Many of the building you will see in this short two part series depict life that probably has not changed in a very long time. Some of the most interesting structures to photograph were buildings that simply didn't look very safe to inhabit; yet in this small Turkish town they added so much character.

Speaking of Character that is what Beypazari is full of. You won't see many western tourists in this town, you may not see a single one; however Beypazari is where the locals from Ankara go to have a weekend getaway. There are many hotel options, museums, restaurants, hiking trails, and a very cute old historic area filled with shops. Beypazari is unlike any place I've ever been; now come along and let's have a look at around.
