We took a nice walk with friends in the Semkovo mountain resort. The area where we were located is Plavishte, in the Rila mountain, near the Bulgarian town Belitsa.
The walk started from the Semkovo hut, which is located near a beautiful small lake at 1750 m above sea level.
The lake, near the hut, was calm and quiet, surrounded by gazebos and water wheels. There were people with tents and boats enjoying the day.
Going down a gravel road we reached a cozy tea house.
Continue on the road I see many bungalows, guesthouses and hotels.
We reached a small chapel "St.Prophet Ilia".
In the courtyard of the Orthodox church there are a stone fountain, a gazebo and wooden benches.
We continued to the "Bor" hotel, from the bar where we bought various things.

The resort was obviously populated, but we saw hardly any people.
On the way back we decided to go through the forest. We found pleasant forest paths that abounded with wild strawberries.
The feeling of being in the forest amidst such wild beauty was magical.
