When I visit a new city, I tried to find a market I can visit as I believe every market is different especially those in the countryside or a foreign city. While doing some research, Plac Targowy Unitarg Flea Market came out and it was exactly what I was looking for. A flea market.

In Sydney, you don’t get a really good flea market. Plac Targowy Unitarg Flea Market opens every day but Sunday is the busiest so I made sure we hit the markets on Sunday before having lunch with Team Malaysia. We walked from our apartment and it took around 15 minutes. As we were getting close, we already saw people putting out a simple mat and put their belongings for people to rummage through. There were some that were very neat which were easier to see what they sold.

There were just crowds everywhere. Cardboard boxes and mats on the ground will all sorts of goodies inside. We saw this cool store they sold old toys and lego pieces but we didn’t end up getting anything. There were just too many things.

As you walk further inside, you get some permanent stores like the florist and various books stores.

You literally see many random stuff. Some stores mark their prices clearly, some you may need to ask. I heard some people haggle with the shop owners …. reminds me of some Asian cities I’ve been to. Prepare to get your hands dirty and start digging into boxes or the mats. Some of the things were pretty dusty but does not affect the goods.

It’s time for lunch. I can stay here for hours and buy a lot but it wasn’t possible. It was a great market for those who like to search for gems. Highly recommended if you are in Krakow.

去克拉科夫旅遊期間，我們去了 Plac Targowy Unitarg 跳蚤市場走走. 我去不同的地方/ 城市會盡量找一些特別的跳蚤市場看看有什麼好東西. 在 Sydney 不是有很多傳統跳蚤市場所以來到克拉科夫一點要來看看。這裡什麼都有，花多眼亂. 大部分都是舊東西，有點尋寶的感覺。有機會去克拉科夫不妨來這裡看看。
