Hi Everyone,
Located at Podgórski Square stands the beautiful St. Joseph's Church. It is not one of the must see or do things you can find on travel blogs or guides but personally I think it's a great place to visit if you are in the area. The church is gothic style with the green coloured tops like many of the churches and castles in this style.
When we visited on the day, there was some restoration work done on the outside of the church but that did not stop visitors going inside for a sit down or a quick visit. It was a massive church and as you can see from the pictures, it really stood out in the square. Looking back from the church, there is large open square with some benches for people to enjoy their surroundings.
Once we stepped in, it looked a lot newer and nicer than what we just saw outside. It was quiet and no lights were on except right at the front. The light was coming in from the sun through the window. It had a really high ceiling and the overall colour was more white/beige/cream throughout the church walls. The ceiling of the church was simple unlike some of the churches we have seen through Europe either with a fancier pattern or a print/picture.
We stayed there for around 10 minutes and it was time to go to the next location. Definitely drop by if you are in the area and take a few pictures. You won't be disappointed!
