Expedition to Mount Kazbek: Prelude & day 1

We have supplies for 7 days, it is going to take at least 2 days to get to the base camp, one day for acclimatization, one day to ascend to the peak and another one to get down. Are we going to be back at Stepantsminda (nearest town to the mountain) in 5 days, I doubt that.
Is it WORTH to visiting MILAN?

I have heard conflicting opinions about Milan. Some were able to admire it, others said it was completely bored and it was a waste of time. I decided to check it and devoted to the city one and a half days. Was it worth it, you will see from this entry.

The farmland gave way to woodland, and started an uphill climb. As soon as we entered this wooded area, the smell of garlic was everywhere, pleasant and fragrant.
