European day today and we offer you a mix of sights to visit! So, letās take you first for a hike on an old path with stunning views and ancient spots in Crete, Greece. Then choose a cultural sightseeing and fly to Vilnius, Lithuania to walk the halls of Vilnius University. The well preserved rooms and numerous decorations will make you come back for more and education will never look the same! And ending on a quiet note - it is a cemetery! We all know how popular cemeteries are in USA. Well, why to go to a different continent if we have got it here, in Liverpool, UK. The haunted site or, so they say, is dating back to 18th century and holds historic graves that tell a story. But it is not all graves, there is a remedy water believed to cure!

This path was in use for hundreds of years until the sixties when a new road was opened. The bulldozers brought to light significant evidence that the area is inhabited for thousands of years but the stateās priorities wasnāt on archeological research so the findings were limited around the road.

The Bell Tower is open to the public at certain times of the year and, they say, once you get up to the top, the view is spectacular. But only if you come at the right season.

Dominating the centre of St James Cemetery is a circular-domed monument over the grave of William Huskisson who died in 1830. He was a member of parliament for Liverpool and was unfortunately the first person to be killed by a steam train.
