I kind of agree. However, out of that context, I would like to tell you about my trip to a beach that is not 100 per cent completed. I mean, the places on the coast that will be used as tourist attractions, still leave a lot of empty space or unfinished designs.
I didn't enter from the initial lobby, but from a side entrance with a wooden gate that read Land's End, and beside it were surfboard decorations. As soon as I entered, I was greeted by a newly planted coconut tree.
Then an outdoor seating area. All visitors are welcome to sit here, but do you know why it's empty? Probably because the sun was unusually hot, so they were looking for a more shady spot.
Not long into my walk, I came across a shack called Beach Bar by Kingsman. This is a food and beverage tenant. Visitors are free to buy here, they serve cash and cashless.
This beach is not a beach, it's an artificial beach with a jetty as a barrier. We can even see barges or fishing boats passing by in the middle of the ocean, I posed on this ledge. Ha ha ha
Apart from Beach Bar, there are several other cafes or food tenants, but some of them have not yet started operating. Some of the ones that have opened are Piers, with its indoor and outdoor seating concept. Bean bags are blue in colour, contrasting with the all-white surroundings.
There is also an artificial lighthouse. The predominance of white and blue is probably meant to harmonise with the surroundings. Then there are three shops in a row selling handmad accessories called Weweave. The concept is very simple and cute, isn't it.
It's a great place for a family holiday and is also kid-friendly. But unfortunately, this place is not yet wheelchair accessible, so, maybe wait until all aspects of this tourist area are completed, then we will know whether it is friendly for wheelchair users or not.
That's all for my trip to Land's End, fellow travellers... happy travelling.
Hi, I am the child of the universe, I like to read books with various genres. I was born in the city of batik but can't draw batik yet. I want to be a novelist, but my works are only short poems that are included in anthology books.
