Monochrome Monday shots from recent walks

Good morning, I hope you all had a good weekend. Mine was good got out for a couple of photowalks, and did some errands around the house, but otherwise was a nice easy weekend

I am starting the week as is my habit with a few Monochrome shots all from recent walks I have taken

Starting with a morning when I parked at the port took a few shots there and then walked into the historic district, and when I go there I cannot resisty gettign shots of the Belgian block streets, I still think of them as cobblestone streets, but know thats not what they are, either way whatever there called, they can be treacherous to walk on if wet, or must be a nightmare for ladies wearing shoes with thin heels.
in short the difference between them is cobblestones are naturally rounded river or field stones, while Belgian blocks are quarried, cut rectangular stones
