Yesterday morning ( as I prepare this post, so probably a week ago as you read it) I after a sunrise walk at a local beach, I stopped on County Street on the way home to capture a couple of cool buildings one of them being the Grace Episcopal Church, which will be the focus for today's post.
People from the church contacted me and have invited me to go and see and take photos inside the church, I hope to do that on Tuesday

A little about the history of the church
The church is a great example of High Victorian Gothic architecture, standing prominently on the downtown New Bedford skyline.
It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The building was designed by the prestigious Boston firm Ware & Van Brunt (composed of William Robert Ware and Henry Van Brunt). Known for designing iconic institutions like Harvard University's Memorial Hall, they imbued Grace Church with rich, heavy textures, utilizing rough-hewn stone masonry, a majestic 130-foot steeple and bell tower, and intricate decorative brickwork along the eaves
I have stopped by here a couple of times to get photos of it, but previously the light had not bene ideal, was happy with the photos I got yesterday
As I parked I saw this statue tucked away in some bushes.
