Early morning views Popes Island
Good Morning and have a great day
Today I will share a few shots from various visits to Popes Island last year, even though it doesn't have a beach and a big area for walking as such unless you walk along the road and over the bridges to New Bedford on one side. well Fish Island and then New Bedford proper, although both Fish and Popes Island are part of New Bedford, or across to Fairhaven over another bridge on the other side, I do enjoy visiting it occasionallyThis first shot is at one end of the Island for morning walksand hopefully winter will let go soon and it will warm up and I will be getting out and about for morning walks again soon.
This is at the Fairhaven side of the island looking across to Fairhaven, and directly in front is crow Island a small private island

Now looking at this shot I am not 1 hundred percent certain this was taken on Popes Island, as I am not sure where i got this view
Actually i checked in my lightroom catalogue and this is indeed on Popes Island as the photos before and after it are on Pope's Island, I think it must have bene with me standing on the bridge that goes to fairhaven looking at some of the boats docked on that side

NBOw strictly speaking I am in Fairhaven for this shot, on the left you can see the bridge I walked across from POpes Island, but the view is looking towards Popes Island

Seems allthe shots I picked for this post were at the Fairhaven end of the island, this is one of the small piers I think primarily used for Canoes and thats fairhaven again across the water
