The city of red roofs
Every street is like a historical museum. Every building is a masterpiece.
Charles bridge
You can spend hours watching people on the beautiful Charles Bridge, that crosses the river named the Vltava. Can you pronounce it easily? So many consonants come together!
I think another tricky for pronunciation word would be Czechoslovakia. As for me, it sounds like a German swearing. For a greater effect close your eyes, imagine Deutschen Soldaten from old movies and say it with over-articulation.
By the way, Karlov bridge (that's how it sounds in Czech) was built in the 14th century, that makes it the oldest bridge of the capital. They say while building the bridge the architect added some... Can you guess? No, not cement, not sand and not even his force powers. They say, he added some egg yolk to strengthen his creature. Don't you believe me? You can lick one of the bricks there, you'll definitely taste it! 😉
Prague Astronomical Clock
One more crowded place (Who knows? Maybe it's your passion, and you can't help but visiting crowded places. In this case it's definitely for you!) Old Town Square and Prague Astronomical Clock. The clock is unique for several reasons. It was made earlier than 1410. There are a few layers and... It's so complicated for such a blonde like me 😜 The only thing I remember you can see the location of the Sun and Moon there. Great, right?
I also heard that there is a replica of this building. It's situated in Seoul. Has anyone seen it?
Well, that was my story. I spent an amazing weekend in Prague. The only thing is it wasn't warm enough for me. You can see my red nose on some pictures as a sign of hypothermia 😂 Yes, I am a warm loving living being!
I hope you liked the trip with me! I would appreciate your feedback.
