The Huairou district is full of natural scenic beauty and there are a lot of wild forest areas throughout the district and so the views in this area are always so attractive for nature lovers and nature explorers. You can find dozens of forest parks that are open for all to hike or explore. But there are more forest areas that are not allowed to enter into the deeper section or have any proper hiking routes or climbing trails in this area, as most of these wild forest areas are in the mountains. Recently, I found such a wild forest area that is open for exploration but not officially any park or scenic area.
The location is a bit weird as I have not seen any protection fences by the road in this area, so anyone can enter the deeper forest area. But I have not entered into the deeper forest as it could be dangerous, and I don’t think it is a place for great exploration. The location of the area is not so far, but it is located in the opposite area of the city, and the area is less populated, as I have seen very few people and little traffic in this area. The spring beauty with the new leaves and green branches is the first thing that will attract everyone.
The forest area is divided by the beautiful road, which has less traffic than the city area, as this area is relatively offside for the city dwellers. There are some resorts in this deeper area, but the number is very low compared to other areas. One side of the forest area is pure wild forest on the rocky mountains, which can be very dangerous due to the lack of safety measures. This mopuntain area of the forest looks very dark as there are more trees than the other side.
The second side of the forest is near the Huairou water reservoir, which is more light and has fewer tall trees than the mountain area. The other fact is that the mountain forest is completely open for entry, but the lakeside part is fenced with proper protection and not allowed to enter the deeper area. But for walking into the deeper area, there are wooden stairs and a walking path to enjoy the surrounding green beauty.
