Spring on the Cote d'Azur always brings a special charm, but this day in Nice was simply perfect. The sun was shining on the streets, a light breeze was bringing the smell of the sea, and my family and I decided to take advantage of every moment in this beautiful Mediterranean city.

Our day started with a leisurely stroll along the Promenade des Anglais, the famous promenade that runs along the coast. The blue of the sea was unreal, and the sun's rays shone on its surface. As we walked, we watched cyclists, runners and tourists who, just like us, were enjoying the beautiful day. The kids laughed as they chased the seagulls, and we stopped to have our morning coffee at one of the cafes overlooking the sea.
From the promenade we turned into Vieux Nice, the old part of the city with narrow streets and colorful facades. The atmosphere here always exudes warmth and life. The markets were full of fresh fruit, flowers and local delicacies, so we sweetened ourselves with warm croissants and freshly squeezed orange juice. The children enjoyed the ice cream, and we admired the old stone streets and small shops full of souvenirs.

After a leisurely stroll through the old town, we decided to climb the Colline du Château, a hill that offers one of the most beautiful views of Nice. The climb was not too demanding, and every step was worth the sight that awaited us at the top. The view of the bay, the promenade and the rooftops of the old town was fascinating. The wind gently cooled our faces while we enjoyed the panorama and took photos for memory.
Coming down the hill, we stopped at a small craft shop selling handmade souvenirs. We bought some beautiful magnets and scented lavender soaps, which will always remind us of this wonderful day. After that, we enjoyed the traditional socca, a crispy chickpea pancake that is a specialty of this region.
As the day wore on, we returned to the beach, where we walked barefoot on the gravel as the sun slowly set behind the horizon. The sea took on shades of orange and pink, and we hugged and admired the sight, grateful to have spent such a wonderful day together.
This walk through Nice was one of those experiences that remain etched in the memory forever. Beautiful weather, great atmosphere and priceless time spent with family made this day perfect. The Cote d'Azur enchanted us once again with its beauty, and we can't wait to come back again and explore more hidden charms of this magical city.
If you ever find yourself in Nice, I recommend you do a similar walk – we're sure you'll fall in love with every corner of it!
