The biggest beauty of Sylhet is its weather. There is no fixed time for sun and rain. Suddenly the sun suddenly rains, there is a great weather here.

My birthplace is Sylhet. But I grew up in Dhaka. So I could not explore the entire Sylhet district. However, I have visited many places in the last few years. Already posted some places in Sylhet. And promised to share detailed description of more locations. So today I will tell you about one of the most beautiful and charming places.

Being a local, almost all places in Sylhet have not been visited. This time the tour was 'Bholaganj Sadapathar'.

For those who don't like crowds, another natural paradise is hidden near Bholaganj Sadapathar. The name is Utmachara.

Bholaganj impressed me, I am sure it will impress you too. If you want to enjoy nature in a quiet environment free from noise, then Bholaganj Sadapathar is the only comparison. The crystal clear water of Haor will blow your mind. And I'm sure you won't notice the time passing by while enjoying the rhythmic play of the clouds with the huge mountains of Meghalaya. The rest is better to see with your own eyes.

This is my full description and post. I will share about Umachara another day.

I decided the night before going, the next morning I went to buy the train ticket online and saw that the ticket was sold out. I called a friend who lives near the station and told him to go and see if there is a ticket. Good luck, I got the ticket.

Taking the ticket from a friend, we two took the 9.50 train with the name of Allah. Luck is so good, I was saved in this journey by the grace of Allah because our next night train at 12.00 had an accident :'(

However, in the morning I got down from the station, washed my hands and face, took a rickshaw and went to Ambkhana point. The silent city of the morning will kill you. Now it's time to wait for BRTC. There is no name to come at half past seven. At that time, I saw that some groups had appeared. Then suddenly a man came and said buy the ticket, the first bus will leave at half past eight. I hurriedly cut the ticket and went to the second floor.

The bus left exactly at half past eight. Not far away, there are high and low mountain tea gardens on both sides. The fatigue of the night journey disappeared in an instant. Wide open field on both sides of the garden. Crossing the field, Meghalaya's tall watch began to peep from afar. As the bus moves forward, it seems like it has hit a hill.

The bus dropped off at zero point boat ghat exactly at half past nine. Knowing that the sun would be hot, I had brought an umbrella. However, while going there, a group asked us whether to go to Sadapathar.

Then I joined them and got on the boat. I see clear water, they are singing, huge mountain in front. I felt like I could spend my whole life like this. However, I reached Sadapathar within 20 minutes. I couldn't contain my joy when I saw the water. It is like a swimming pool. And the sun was harsh. I took care of the mess.

The trip to Sadapathar from the ghat is more beautiful, light green blue clear water, it seems like jumping from the boat, but the river has a lot of current, we who know how to swim are also surprised to see the current, I heard from the sailor that there have been several accidents, many people can't handle the shape of this river with emotion. Pere landed, and was in danger.

I got down from the ghat and looked ahead from the BGB camp. The stones on the bank are very slippery, you have to step carefully, and you can feel the strength of the current when you go down, you can keep yourself a little steady if you stick your feet on the stones.

Immersion in water as cold as ice-cold water can be done comfortably for a few hours, although the boat syndicate sets a time limit of 2 hours. That is not less.

There are some brokers who store bags, but we didn't like their talk, what is in the bag, how many things will be kept, Habijabi question and the rate of 100 rupees, we guarded our own bags.

Watching the friendship of the clouds with the mountains quietly. What kind of connection do they have? Time passed by. I looked around the whole place. very beautiful I saw rice cooking again in a small loft. I ate rice with fish there. Now it's time to go back.

I used to go down to the tea garden on my way back. But the objection of the next person did not come down anymore. I went to Ambkhana and took a rickshaw to the shrine. After spending some time there, I took CNG and went to the shrine of Shah Paran. Go to the shrine, eat Satrang tea, use local CNG and go straight to the bus stop. After the accident, I didn't dare to go by train anymore. I ate there and took the night bus. Two nights and one day went by and I didn't feel anything.

Some suggestions:

  1. Budget travelers don't need to take CNG, bus is better and cost will be less.

  2. If you go to the ghat and wait for a while, you will be added to the group, if the members are less.

  3. Do not keep clothes, bags in the custody of so-called brokers, but keep them close and go down into the river.

  4. However, there are separate changing rooms for boys and girls, 10 taka per person.

  5. There are some photographers like Cox's Bazar, but don't fall under the magic of their words.

  6. I like the white stone a thousand times more than Jaflong.

  7. Perfect for a day trip.

  8. Take a life jacket whether you know how to swim or not, again there is quite a current in this river.

Don't do anything that is harmful to the environment, don't play with chips or biscuits for a day, many people throw diapers on the banks of the river, please don't do this.

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
