In 2009, I was in Egypt with my parents when my bro asked me to apply for visit visa for UK.
He was there since 2007 and did too much of shopping that if he carry that much weight with him will cost same as my return ticket for UK. That is according to him which I did not cross-checked because I was getting the opportunity to explore UK HURRAYYY!!!
On the other hand, he wanted me (youngest bro) to have a tour of UK and we both would explore places.
Whatever the reason was, main thing is I applied and got visit visa of 3 months for UK, bro sent me return ticket of 15 days.
He asked me not to pack or bring unnecessary things, not much cloths as well. Will do shopping in UK wowow
It was a tight schedule, took a flight from Cairo to Heathrow airport and then domestic flight to Edinburgh.
My bro was living in Dundee which is almost an hour drive from Edinburgh airport. Fun-fact : Dundee in Urdu means a piece of wood LOL
He was there to pick me up with one of his friends, we did lunch on the way to home.
Exotic place to visit, Scotland. From deserts (Egypt) to greenery (Scotland), I can feel the difference however, each place has its own taste.
It was so quiet and relaxing, no busy roads, no crowds. I needed this badly. My bro told me that this looks nice only when you are here for a month or so.
Living alone far from family is so difficult and painful. Well, I do not have experience so let it be and just enjoy the trip 😉
RRS Discovery and nearby places:
We did a walk in the morning to an old big ship called RRS discovery, it was a nice place facing river.
There was a museum as well but we both were not interested to buy that much knowledge of 1900s 😜 so spent a little time then went back home.
Later that day, my bro with his friend took me to a place from where we could see the changing city : Dundee. Didn't remember the name though but had nice views.
Then we went to some pond (didn't remember the names of the places) and spent time over there. The weather was nice, everything was so perfect.
Did some video making and captured living of my bro as requested by my parents. At that time, we use to video chat via Yahoo & Skype but parents did not get to see their boy properly that is the reason they asked to me film the room, eating and everything so can see their boy is living a king life 😜
I have shared my experience of first two days in Dundee which was full of fun.
