Grona Lund is an oldest amusement park of Sweden. It is located at the seaside, equipped with latest and safest rides. It is well maintained and beautifully designed to attract visitors. People of all ages are entertained and enjoy accordingly. There is something for everyone, no one would return without having fun.

It was the end of spring and summers were ready to rock n roll. It’s the month of May, the best and suitable time to visit or have any outings in Stockholm. I was there with my mother at my eldest brother. There are so many memories from that trip but the best outing I had was of Grona Lund.

We went to Grona Lund by public ferry (boat), a very nice way to warm up for the excellent outing.

I don’t know about the entry fees or whatever (none of my business), my bro take care of that so we entered the amusement park and start roaming around, checking on rides.

Veteranbilarna (Veteran Cars)


My nephew was like 2 years of age at that time and was big fan of cars. In the beginning only, he saw those 1800s cars ride and we were unable to go further until we all four adult had that ride with him. He really likes it and was not ready to leave it behind.
We were accompanied with two video cameras, one with my bro and other one was in my hand. Although, I was just an amateur and trying to steady my hand but still managed to film some of the nice moments.

Trying Luck


I was trying my luck to win a big big packet of chocolates but hard luck, I selected number 4 but the wheel stopped at 8. Never mind.

Robo Dance


My nephew got scared of him and started crying. That Robo have some nice moves and was jolly in character, playing with kids and passersby.

Bumper cars


My mother was keeping an eye on nephew and on the other hand, I my bro and sister in law were busy in playing like a kid. Both of them likes bumper cars and headed to fasten the seat belts. Buzzer rang and my bro started driving like a real car LOL trying to have a safe ride.

Now, it was my turn and my sister in law was there too in her Ferrari. Honestly, I was so scared and looking terrible as I don’t know how to drive although it was just a bumper car but I was all puzzled. Buzzer rang and I was so confused how to drive it straight. You can see that on my face. I don’t know where my car was going and my sis in law was making fun of me. It was awful feeling but having fun at the same time. Finally, got rid of it.

Lustiga Huset (Fun House)


Now, this was something I was looking for desperately to cover the bumper car blunder. Its name says it all, yes, absolutely no doubt that this fun house is really amazing. First, the hard work to get up to the entrance then all fun begans. Moving bridges, zig zag steps and many other things to have fun filled time. In the end, flying carpet was a surprise. I was not expecting such a sudden fall. Flying carpet fall moment was captured and my bro bought me a keychain of that picture, cool.

Kärlekstunneln (Tunnel of Love)


My nephew enjoyed on this ride, a boat takes you to a whole new world of fantasy land.

Funny Mirrors


We got tired of laughing at this place. What a mastermind to make such type of mirrors. Each mirror has different result, showing terrible faces and body shapes. We just can’t stop laughing and seeing us like this, my nephew was amazed and joined the party by doing the same thing. Unstoppable, I bet no one exit without laughing. Seriously, it was a mad house LOL

House of Nightmares


After so much of laughing, now comes my favorite: haunted house. I didn’t stopped recording video in there even it was all black and dark but the faces were glowing and eyes color were looking changed. They have some kind of set up in there which makes us scary. My bro and sis in law were asking me to be in a group and don’t get left behind. I was so busy filming one of the ghost that everyone left me alone. I was focusing on the hands of ghost costume man and suddenly, he scared me with his face and loud roar. I shouted and ran away, it all got recorded LOL. It was a scary house and the theme was well maintained. We got scared and yes, we enjoyed that too.

We had a great time in Grona Lund and it is 100% recommended place.
