Couple of days ago, one of my friend and colleague came to Karachi from Sialkot on annual leaves to attend the wedding ceremony of his cousin. Little background of him, he used to live in Karachi but six months ago, he was transferred to Sialkot station and got promoted from Operations department to Sales Department. He is one of the most favorite and hardworking employee of our company, his dedication is superb, such a nice guy. One of our colleague from other station in Lahore accompanied him to attend the meeting in Headoffice i.e. Karachi.
Above and below picture taken by my colleague through his cell phone Iphone 13
Meeting him after a long time is fun because he is such a nice and funny character. He had lunch with Boss and we decided to take him for dinner, a treat for both of them. We, me and my other colleague from IT department, who provides me pick and drop service, a good friend too, waited for them after off but they were too much busy in meeting with Boss so, we decided to leave for home and postpone the dinner and went to nearby Mosque for prayers. The other three caught us outside the mosque, it was a coincidence, just a second delay and they could have gone. We were destined to have dinner together that day.
See the difference
We were on bikes, decided to sit in nearby restaurant “Zeenat”. Sitting is perfect for friends and screen was there for live ongoing matches of cricket league. We had a nice chit chat there, laughing, smiles and jokes all around. The colleague from Lahore also opened up and shared some of his stories.
Me and IT guy was out of cash so we signaled the same to the other guy, who is the manager of Special projects, to bear the whole bill and will split later tomorrow. He understood the signal and nod his head. We were relaxed and said, ordered anything you want hehehe.
The staff was working properly, I personally checked the kitchen which was open, live BBQ, fresh chicken and meat was there to be cooked. I took some pictures there.
He ordered a BBQ platter and Chicken boneless Handi.
We took some pictures when the BBQ platter arrived and got so much busy in eating that we forgot to have the picture of Chicken Handi.
One of them told me that you forgot to take its picture, oopps I will miss it for the blog lol then I immediately took some pictures of Chicken Handi.
Talking about the food, it was not bad and can’t say it was perfect, it was just OK. The kababs and tikka in BBQ platter were soft and tasty, spices were up to the mark. Rice was well cooked but the only thing which didn’t match was the price. Taste was fine.
Chicken Handi was good but too much oil in it, again the chicken was soft and well cooked, taste was awesome. Naans (bread) were too thick. I don’t leave anything on the table, don’t like to waste the food. So, we all finished everything along with having fun and watching the cricket match on the screen.
Next day, everyone at office was like wow you guys had fun and dinner together and how’s the food, didn’t ask us to join. Well, honestly we had our names on that food due to which we all five went together. Overall, it was a good gathering and we chilled, gossips and shared our stories with each other. Nice restaurant but a bit expensive :P
