Who read about our adventures two weeks ago knows that - despite various vicissitudes - my son "demanded" another trip to the mountains.
(who has not read - here is the link)
Unfortunately, the first May weekend was not suitable for leaving home because the weather was bad. Fortunately, the weather in the next weekend was very successful, and from Friday I heard the questions: "will we go to the mountains?," when will we go on a trip? "Etc. etc.
I promised that as soon as the weather is good on Sunday, we get up in the morning and go to the forest.

I planned that we would reach a place called Stone Forest.
I checked this place before (link). I was talking about him at home, so my son was guessing the whole way, "what could this Stone Forest look like?", "Where in the middle of the forest so many stones?", "Who brought them there, and for what?".
However, before we got there, a pleasant walk awaited us along the old forest road, which in former times served foresters, and now slowly overgrows, creating a charming (but wild) tourist trail.

Under the summit of Mount Skalite, we went out onto a new, wide forest road. This road was created a dozen or so years ago so that foresters could export wood on trucks (there was a lot of wood to export - the bark beetle epidemic devastated our spruce forests, but this is a story for another time).

Just around the bend one of my favorite places on Skalite Mountain was waiting for me - a quarry.

I didn't have much time to climb, but - to take pictures of the area - I had to go a little higher, because the freshly green forest effectively blocked my view.

We had a break under the quarry, then we went on through the Siodło pass.
From the pass, the red trail starts climbing steeply.

It was the second steep climb on the route (the first was on the old road), but this time there were some "moans" from my traveling companions :) Fortunately, the complaint ended when some man passed us - running up the hill.
A guy about 50 years old was running uphill! Ok - he wasn't running fast - he was just jogging - but the slope was really steep. I said "respect" when he passed us. Man smiled slightly, then disappeared around the bend of the trail :) ......

After a few minutes of climbing we arrived. Some needed rest;).

All right - I think we all deserved a moment of breath. This place was perfect for that.

The route I planned should end here.
We should back down the red trail and go home.
However, standing on the rocks, I saw people walking down some path on the other side of the mountain. So there was a quick change of plans - "let's go further, we'll see what is there."
And it was a good plan! ;)

Going further along the red trail, we got to the "Becyrek" pass

To the "Becyrek" pass you descend from "Stone Forest", then the red trail leads up to Skrzyczne mountain.

However, we chose the green trail leading down, through the second slope of mountain, to Szczyrk.

Along the way, in the middle of the forest, we came across such a beautiful house.
... Be able to drink coffee on this porch in the morning, listening to the sounds of the forest and the birds singing ...

The rest of the route we spent enjoying the lush greenery of a freshly blossomed forest.

At the bottom, the world has added the whiteness of blossoming apple trees to its color palette.

Our trip ended so colorfully.
