Everyone knows Pereybere as one of the most beautiful beaches of the island and most of the time the beach is crowded specially during weekends and public holidays!
Located in the Northern part of Mauritius, just 5 minutes drive away from Grand Baie, I have only been there for spending time on the beach and enjoy the calm lagoon in the past...
Not here talking about the beach...
The beach for sure is world class...
But last week, my friend Karan, made us discover a perfect fishing spot near that beautiful public beach which I never knew before!
We only had to walk along the beach southwards for 10 minutes and we reached the spot! A rocky beach as you can see...
Wooden platforms around...
This was such a nice addition to that place...looks like people who lives around this beach built up these wooden platforms.
They are so practical when fishing...
Below is my brother in law and my friend Karan trying their luck in the sea!
It was my nephew who got the first catch and it was such a great moment and we were all cheering...
Used the first catch as bait to get more fish...
Upon recommendation from my friend Karan, he used this first catch as bait to fish more...
Summer is here and there will be a lot of fishing trips my way...
I have been waiting for winter to go away and now we are feeling the warm days of summer already...
This fishing trip at Pereybere was my first fishing day out for this season and I already went two times more at different locations - I'll write about the other 2 times some other day!
It was indeed a great discovery for me as little did I know that there was such a nice fishing spot in Pereybere!
I will definitely go there again as I fell in love with the place! It is neither too far from my place and is also a safe place!
We stayed there until the sun set and took the way back while it started to be dark!
Hope you've enjoyed discovering this nice place same like I did some days back!
On my next post, I will share the 2nd fishing trip I had...but this time at a water reservoir...stay tuned for that post!
Thanks for reading!
