As we all know about the current situation in the world in which the USA is on top of the list with most confirmed cases and ITALY having most deaths.
Fortunately, my country INDIA being 2nd most populated country in the world has much lesser confirmed cases than other countries.
I live in a state which is having near about 22-23 lakh population and in this range of populated states, my State comes in the top of the list with more than 200 confirmed cases. A few days back, my area had only two cases but in the last 2 days, it increased to 13. It created a panic in the whole area.
The day before yesterday I was in my home and health department members cane to my home and investigated my health. Also, they posted a poster on the front gate of my house. I wanna show you that poster.
From this image, you can see how fear much is the fear of COVID-19 in my area.
Due to nationwide lockdown, my city is also under lockdown, some area is labeled as "red zone/ buffer zone".
We all know how lockdown has created panic among people in the world but in my city lockdown is common. I have already mentioned several times about my city(KASHMIR), also you might have seen some news about it from TV, Social Media, etc. People here are used to it and they know how to deal with it. So it doesn't bother people but in other states, it created many difficulties for people.
CONFIRMED CASES OF COVID-19 IN J&K
So far know when COVID-19 hit most populated states in the country. J&K having 22-23 lakh of population in which 207 cases are confirmed. Out of which 168 are from KASHMIR region. It increased rapidly a few days before because of people who were outside of the state. Also, the people who were engaged with TABLEEGHI JAMAAT are more suspects. Some of them hide their travel history was the biggest reason for the uneven jump back from few days, but still, officials said, state the is still in STAGE 2 which means community transmission has not happened here.
Out of 207 confirmed cases, 4 deaths have been confirmed so far, 3 from KASHMIR and 1 from JAMMU.

CURRENT SITUATION IN J&K AMID COVID-19
People in J&K are in fear of COVID-19 like other countries. Also, lockdown is continued from the last 18 days.
Here is one thing is different from other countries, i.e; Lockdown for J&K people is not a big deal but people have a fear of this pandemic COVID-19. Unlike other countries who are worried about lockdown, people in KASHMIR know how to deal with lockdown and they don't worry about it.
