Hola querido hiver.
Durante mis últimas vacaciones en Vinaroz (España) se me ocurrió fotografiar los murales pintados que me llamaban la atención para compilarlos en una publicación que hoy te traigo aquí.
Comenzamos con la portada del post. Es un homenaje al artista local Carles Santos, un hombre polifacético que dedicó su vida a las artes plásticas y musicales.
El siguiente mural es una sucesión de firmas y dibujos, algunos de ellos bien conocidos. A tenor de la cantidad de nombres que aparecen fueron muchas las manos que contribuyeron a su realización.
Toma nota de este nombre: Chile. Verás su firma en la mayoría de los murales que ves en este post. Es un artista de la localidad que ha promovido su arte urbano con la creación de un festival.
Este es el mural ganador de la primera edición del festival, en 2018. Su autor es Xav.
Este tipo de expresión artística me ha atraído desde siempre. Aporta a las ciudades una pizca de color entre tanto gris de cemento y hormigón.
Su estrecha relación con el mundo del hip-hop tampoco ha sido ajena para mí. Cuando apenas entraba en la adolescencia y la música era mi principal interés este estilo copaba los puestos altos de las listas de éxitos.
He reservado para el final el que más me gusta. Se sale de la norma habitual en cuanto a temática y técnica, es vistoso y evocador.

Hi, dear hiver.
During my last holidays in Vinaroz (Spain) it occurred to me to photograph the painted murals that caught my attention in order to compile them in a publication that I bring you here today.
Let's start with the cover of the post. It is a tribute to the local artist Carles Santos, a multifaceted man who dedicated his life to the plastic and musical arts.
The following mural is a succession of signatures and drawings, some of them well known. The number of names that appear in this work shows that many hands contributed to its creation.
Take note of this name: Chile. You will see his signature on most of the murals you see in this post. He is a local artist who has promoted his urban art by creating a festival.

This kind of artistic expression has always attracted me. It brings to the cities a pinch of colour among so much grey cement and concrete.
Its close relationship with the world of hip-hop has not been alien to me either. When I was just in my teens and music was my main interest, this style was at the top of the charts.
I've saved the one I like best for last. It's a departure from the usual norm in terms of subject matter and technique, it's colourful and evocative.
