Hello families and friends, lovers and everyone around at @TravelFeed we are back again we many stuff to share with you, at least not to be bore confinding ourselves indoors because of the lockdown due to Covid-19 challenges. Some of us on break after prolong lockdown, this is the time we can hang around with our families and friends to some Holidays, chill and visit lovely places of our choices.
I was already expecting some holidays, and wonna go out with my families at least one day to relieve pressure being indoors during this hectic lockdown, which has been partially lifted on us. I this is small family matter not a large group to cause mess of breaking the laws of social distancing and contacting stuff. At least me, my wife and my two kids( Jude & Wilfreda). Lucky enough, Monday 1st May 2020 marks *Workers Day* observation which should have been a mega party for friends and families if not this lockdown and Covid-19 issues. Yet, some of us would not let this day go Scot free, since this happens once in blue moon. We need to at least showcase some exercise and travelling ability. I and my two kids who in the morning visited their Grand parents with their mother, decided to go out and receive the fresh and the breeze from one of our famous rivers in our Community-*"River Amemenehwerewa."* I and my smallest kid, Jude who was only four years on April 6 last visited the same River. So he was pressing me to take them out even last week since her elder sister didn't go with us during the last time.
Around 4:30pm I, Jude and Wilfreda came to the road side, bothered in a taxi to the road path linking to the "River Amemenehwerewa."* From the road side to the River is just 10mins walk, so I held the hand of my boy of course he is the youngest, while the girl could walk very fast. We got to the River around 5:00pm. There wasn't much people here fetch water, I wondered why this was so, but upon my second thought it might be that a lot of people were enjoying their holidays indoors. The river is the main source that the inhabitants depend for their domestic activities, especially during the drought when most rivers dry out. But ever since I have been born and need in this Community, the river hasn't experienced dried, it always flows at its peak to support the Community.
We stook there for a while gazing at how the river, enjoying the fresh breeze of air blowing around the banks. There has been always that natural mood of serene and quiet in that river with the forest trees surrounding it. We took few photographs here on the banks. My little boy was bold enough to pull me move a step ahead into the river, but the girl was frightened, since that was her first time visiting that large river self. I held their hands and we all moved together close to the River. There was only one boy who was fetching water, but we stood there taking our photos, while he fetch his second time. We observed how it flows, its length and width. My kids were asking me how such a large to we could find it place there.
It was getting late for supper, we took a few photographs and climbed to the top of the hill from the river. When we were exiting, we made some short video which display how the river is, on the background are my two kids( Jude & Wilfreda), and the boy who was fetching water was behind us carrying his bucket with water. I uploaded this video to #YouTube for your view.
