I will continue the story of my stay in the unique place of Skole district in Ukraine - a cave monastery in the village of Razgirche, which I wrote about in this post:

After spending some time in a cave where monks once lived, prayed and led their amazing ascetic way of life in stone rooms, we went out into the sunny autumn forest.
This is how great the cave monastery is, where my daughter Victoria is. This is the second floor where the monastery church is located.
We left the church and climbed to the top of the church, which offers beautiful views of the village of Razgirche. Autumn in the Carpathians is especially magical! I'm worried because the rock is smooth and Victoria is coming to feel that special moment of being at the highest level)
On the left, a path up the cliff rose, that led to two rocks that looked like two harsh guardian angels. I read on Wikipedia that these rocks are the gates on the side of the forest that once protected the monastery from the attacks of the Tatars!
Here at last we see two rocks that really look like gates! This is an exciting moment as we approach! My imagination depicts the old times when riders on stones rode here. Terrible and formidable invaders ... But I think these stone angels stopped them and the almighty power unknown to them turned them from here to the other side!
We come close and I notice the amazing structure of this rock. I do not know how to describe it: time made the stone look like a sieve - many holes, as if there was a strong hail and strange patterns were formed!
I stand between the rocks and measure the distance between these rocks. I do not reach for them with my hands. I'm comfortable here. I feel the warm and positive energy of this power.
The sign of thanksgiving and prayer is not only on the rock, but on the tree I see the image of the cross. This is a true masterpiece of woodcarving. And as long as this tree lives, people will come here and feel the spirit of the monk who did it!
I sat down to sit on the stones, generously covered with red autumn leaves warmed by the sun. I'm fine here. And Victoria climbs a tree to be even closer to the blue sky of a magical autumn in Ukraine.
We returned to the track by a field road through a pine - juniper forest and reached the river Stryi, through which you need to pass a 500-meter bridge.
What a wonderful my Ukraine and so many places I have not known! Thank you for the joy of sharing with you!
