My last Singaporean post from our resent trip a couple of months ago is the famous Orchard Road. I had never been there before as I am really not a high end fashion shopper but it was definitely worth checking it out. So neat, clean and tidy. It is hard to imagine there is a enough rich people to keep so many high end shops open and operating but there must be plenty of money around.

Right next to Orchard Road is Emerald Hill, a little bit of Singapore’s colonial past. It was very interesting to see the contrast of old and new so close to each other.
