I visited the Mediterranean Museum in Stockholm
It is nice that museums in Stockholm have basically no admission fee. Tourists from abroad are of course also free, and can enjoy a rather impressive collection of art works.
I went to the Mediterranean Museum, which was holding a special exhibition titled "The Mediterranean, 7000 Years of History".

ストックホルム市内にある博物館は基本的に入場料が無料なのがうれしい。 海外から来た観光客ももちろん無料で、かなり見ごたえのある美術品のコレクションを堪能できます。
「地中海、７０００年の歴史」と言ったタイトルをつけて地中海博物館で特別展を開催していたので行ってみました。
My Sambo grandparents, who are now over 90 years old, told me that they went to Cyprus many times as young tourists. Cyprus has beautiful sea and nature, and is a popular tourist destination for many Swedish tourists. My sambo's grandparents also love history, and they showed me brochures of museums they visited in their tourist destinations.
This Mediterranean Museum in Stockholm had many pieces on display that reminded me of the Mediterranean art shown in the brochure I was shown earlier.
わたしのSamboの祖父母は現在９０歳を超えているのですが、若いころキプロスへ何度も観光に行ったと話していました。 キプロスは海も綺麗で自然もとても豊富で、それにスウェーデンからの観光客も多い人気の観光地だそうです。 祖父母たちも歴史が好きで、観光地先で行った博物館のパンフレットを以前見せてくれました。
このストックホルムにある地中海博物館は、以前見せてくれたパンフレットに掲載されていた地中海の美術品を彷彿とさせる作品がたくさん展示されていました。
It is truly a strange feeling to know that 7,000 years ago people created so many beautiful works of art and that we can see them in this way today.
７０００年前の人間がこのような美しい作品をたくさん作り、それが現代でもこのようにしてみることが出来るなんて本当に不思議な気分になりました。
And there were some very good discoveries. There was a very large café in the museum, where you could read a book and admire the exhibits. This café was very spacious and I would like to come back again. I didn't have much time to see the exhibits on this day, but I would like to visit this museum again when I go sightseeing in Stockholm.
そしてとてもよい発見もありました。 なんと、博物館の中にとても大きなカフェがあって、そこで本を読みながら展示品を鑑賞できるスペースが設けられていました。 このカフェはとてもスペースも広くて、また来てみたいなと思いました。 この日は実はあまり時間がなく駆け足で展示を見たのですが、またストックホルム市内を観光するときはこの博物館によってもう一度ゆっくりと展示品を鑑賞したいなぁと思いました。
