Perfect place to relax in the middle of the city. DAY 6 HiveAroundTheWorld [ENG/ESP]

Want to know my favorite food that I always reach for when I'm out and about? Well, follow me and I'll tell you.
There's one place that lifts my spirits and leaves me refreshed every time I visit: the DelaCrem ice cream shop, located at the well-known intersection of 23rd and 12th Streets in Havana. I go there not only because I enjoy the excellent ice cream, but also because of the joyful and comforting experience each visit offers.

It's a very cozy place where you can choose to sit inside in the pleasant air-conditioned climate or in the porch to be in direct contact with the street. It's also beautifully decorated, with several spaces with illuminated signs that invite you to take souvenir photos.

During this intense summer, I prefer to go inside to cool off while enjoying a delicious ice cream. Plus, I can watch the videos they have. They always have hidden cameras showing funny pranks. These videos are muted because the cafe has very pleasant background music, none of the noise (reggaeton with unpleasant lyrics that I don't consider music) that has plagued Cuban streets lately. I think it's a sign of my maturity, haha.

The young employees are overflowing with kindness, always smiling and willing to recommend flavors or tell you about new items on the menu. Their good energy is contagious and makes the moment even more enjoyable.
I've ordered several different ice cream options, but my favorite is the cone. I like to choose a flavor I haven't tried before, and I never regret it; all the flavors are delicious. Just when I think I've tried them all, new flavors appear; I always have a different and delicious experience.

With my cone in hand, I sit down to watch the funny videos and focus on that moment. I always laugh as I savor my ice cream, which is why when I leave the ice cream parlor, it's as if I've been reset.
The atmosphere at DelaCrem is perfect: relaxed, full of good humor, and, of course, with the delicious aroma and taste of freshly made ice cream and sweets.

Treat yourself to happiness! I totally agree with this neon sign and follow this advice, haha.

Pues, sígueme y te cuento. >Hay un sitio que cada vez que lo visito me levanta el ánimo y salgo renovada, es la heladería DelaCrem, en la conocida intersección de 23 y 12, en La Habana. No solo voy porque disfruto de excelentes helados, sino por toda la experiencia alegre y reconfortante que me regala cada visita. >Es un lugar muy acogedor donde puedes escoger si sentarte dentro con un buen clima con aire acondicionado o en el portal para estar en contacto directo con la calle. Además, está bellamente decorado, tiene varios espacios con letreros lumínicos que invitan a tomarte fotos de recuerdos. >En este momento de intenso verano yo prefiero entrar para refrescarme mientras disfruto de un sabroso helado, además puedo ver los videos que tienen, siempre ponen las cámaras ocultas de bromas divertidas, estos videos los ponen en mute porque la cafetería tiene una música de fondo muy agradable, nada del ruido (reguetón con letras desagradables que no considero música) que últimamente invade las calles cubanas, creo que es signo de mi madures jaja. >Los jóvenes dependientes desbordan en amabilidad, siempre sonrientes y dispuestos a recomendarte sabores o contarte alguna novedad del menú. Su buena energía contagia y hace que el momento sea aún más placentero. >He pedido varias modalidades de tomar el helado, pero la que prefiero es la del barquillo, me gusta escoger un sabor que no he tomado con antelación y nunca me arrepiento, todos los sabores están deliciosos. Cuando creo que ya los he probado todos aparecen nuevos sabores, siempre tengo una experiencia diferente y deliciosa. >Con mi barquillo en mano me siento a ver los videos cómicos y me concentro en ese instante, me río siempre a la vez que saboreo mi helado, por eso cuando salgo de la cremería es como si me hubiesen reseteado. >El ambiente de DelaCrem es perfecto: relajado, lleno de buen humor y, por supuesto, con el delicioso aroma y sabor de los helados y dulces recién hechos. >Date el gusto de ser feliz!
