Greetings fellow Hivers, this is J again and since I have been to the city I can't missed the chanced to visit the famous free museum. Which is called the National Museum of the Philippines - Cebu. It was launched last July 28, 2023. This museum became the 16th National Museum of the Philippines.
Located near the Plaza Independencia and Fort San Pedro which I had also visited. Looking back I have been into the Plaza Independencia and take a stroll there It's was June 2023 and I have this photo of the museum at the back but I still didn't know that It would become a museum. So I have thought that during those times the artifacts are already placed inside. And at the back of the museum is the CCLEX. To got there you have to look for an entrance because the center part is the exit. The museum is actually open every Tuesdays to Sundays except holidays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
We have found the guard and just said that where's the main entrance so the guard said that we have to sit for a while and listen some rules and regulations about the place. It's already started when to got there so we basically just heard tiny part of it and some of those are.
• Not to bring big bags inside
• Food and beverage
• Umbrella
• Water Tumbler
• Pets
• Art Materials
You are also prohibited to do the following actions such as;
• Don't touch the pieces such as paintings, sculptures and other objects.
• Avoid taking video
• Don't used camera flash
• Dress appropriately
• Keep the voices low
• Avoid running
Upon finishing listing the speaker you can now get inside to the museum. The guard will open the door for you.
There's a receptionist the will write your name a a group representative and there's a curator that would explain the Rules and Regulations once again. If you have carry huge bagged they have safe place for and especially if you have also carried some foods and beverages. The curator would explain which side to so first. He explains that we should start in this area and just follow the leads after that we can now proceed to the upper part of the establishment.
To begin the tour. You will get to know first the Kinaiyahan: Cebu's Natural Wonders. There's this huge map of the island Queen City of the South.
