Hello everyone, Welcome to my today's travel blog. Last two days I posted about most beautiful waterfalls in Sri Lanka. As usual Today I'm going to share another glorious waterfall in Sri Lanka. Do you know the beautiful Bomburu falls? Some time ago, I thought I was going to tell you about the beautiful experience, which was very difficult. It's about the Bomburu falls.
It is no secret that Nuwara Eliya is home to the cold climate of Sri Lanka. The air is often darkened by the fog that roams among the green peaks. Bomburu Falls is the widest waterfall in Sri Lanka, in the Nuwara Eliya District, which is home to some of the tallest things in Sri Lanka.
The distance from Welimada town to Uduwahara is about 18 km. From there we had to walk about 1 kilometer along the banks of the irrigation canal.
Bomburu Ella is still a peasant village. The hand that is seen is paddy. Rice cultivation has been a blessing to the village. People are more humanity because of them. Hospitality is on the rise. If you've ever been able to overcome this difficult path, you've really made an effort.
It is situated in the Kandapola reserve of the Perawella village in the Uva Paranagama Divisional Secretariat Division, about 15 km from Welimada town, close to the Nuwara Eliya and Badulla district boundaries. The waterfall is 50 meters in height and the width is about 20 meters. Buses run from Welimada to Bomburu Falls. You can climb to the falls and get down. 6km to go from Welimada. 1km walk to the falls.
We had to go only half Km's. The footpath is very difficult. You should get the help of a keen villager about the waterfall to walk through the forest, past the fields, the canals and the hills. This route is also very fancy.
On the way you will encounter many well laid fences. On this journey along the banks of the Bomburu oya, a number of small waterfalls are created.
After going about 500 meters, the road borders a small hill on the left. The speed of the water attack at this place is very high. A villager who came with us said that some of the villagers were washing their water from there. In this place, the vast waterfall that we pass through is very powerful. Not suitable for bathing and can be a bit hazardous.
I never missed to captured fabulous things in the nature. This is tasty vegetable plant in our state. The thorns hot powerful. Flowers has some nice looks. We called it *Thibbatu.* But I don't know English or scientific name for this plant.
Bomburu Falls is another beautiful place. For photographers, this place is very valuable. Also known as Bomburu Falls and Perawella Falls.
Upon arrival in the jungle, the rest of the distance should be covered only in the dark, where there is no human space. Of course, the jungle is quite dark, with high tropical forests, but there are large numbers of leeches to wipe out. You have to climb a small foot path and occasionally jump over the tree trunks, bending over the trees.
I captured one of them. In the middle of the forest, we can see the fog slowly rising to the top of Bomburu falls. Another beautiful creation of Mother Nature, one can look forward to seeing this beautiful waterfall. Cliffs of white foam rise and fall on one side of the rock, creating a variety of patterns along the rock.
The sound of falling water echoes throughout the area. Its voice can be heard about a kilometer away. A huge stream of water falls down from the rock.
The stream, which forms the waterfall, begins at the southern end of the Piduruthalagala range. It falls from a rock wall at Piduruthalagala and creates a waterfall called Loverslip. It then flows through Hawa Eliya and feeds the moon plains reservoir and the Boralanda reservoir below it. It is only then that you enter the forest. The streams formed by the accumulation of many branches are rough. We stayed few minutes there for keep memory to our camera. Finally we leaved from Bomburu falls for look another beauty place. Thanks for visiting. See you next. Have a nice day.
