Every travel journeys give us unique experience. Also every travel journey be various than others. Sometimes we can see some places being similar. Today I;m going to sharing another awesome journey of us.

You can see this beautiful waterfall in a beautiful area, 5 km from the city of Ella and the town of Wellawaya. If you are traveling by train from Colombo, you should come down from the falls and come to Wellawaya. One can see the Ravana Falls which passes along the Wellawaya main road without any effort.

We came to explore the area around Ravana Falls. History has a history that goes back to the Ravana period. Today it is a sightseeing destination for both local and foreign tourists.

We started to climb our journey since down of the waterfall, There are two beautiful waterfalls in the area. They are known as top Ravana falls and Ravana falls. The Ravana falls is a beautiful stream that flows down from the top of a mountain at a height of about 300 meters.

There was mountain range placed. It's really awesome visual to us. We walked through little forest.

Ravana Falls is a popular place to visit in Sri Lanka. The mountains of Sri Lanka are very popular for beautiful waterfalls and the Ravana Falls is the highest.

But in the Ramayana story, Ravana Falls is located in the midst of dense forests. It is called the Upper Ravana Falls because of its location. It is not easy for someone to see this from the highway, as the trees in the forest are covered with vines. The falls fall from a height of about 25 meters.

The waterfall is quite impressive and you can climb through some rocks to get a closer look. If you love water and just want to spend a few hours in the waterfall, this is the place to be. Swimming can take some time, but it is best to stay safe as the rocks are slippery.

The waterfall is named after a famous character, Ravana, who is associated with the famous Indian epic Ramayana. Legend has it that Ravana (then King of Sri Lanka) abducted Princess Sita and hid her in the caves behind the waterfall. At that time the cave was surrounded by thick forests in the middle of the desert. It is believed that the Queen of Rama took a bath in the pool where the water falls from this waterfall.

It is said that Sitha was imprisoned in this cave. It must be true, because there's a possibility of getting a shot. On the other hand, looking at the cave, it feels very safe. It is safe to say that the story of Goddess Sitha was imprisoned here.

There are also large rooms on the premises, which have a large area, and a blue pond filled with fresh water. It is assumed that the site must have a safe, easy access tunnel, in addition to the harsh tunnel the team discovered.
