Hi all 👋🏻

Today I want to share with you all a small selection of photographs I took of the rock formations at Wied Il-Mielaħ and the CLIFFS close by on the island of GOZO ~ MALTA 🇲🇹 during our last days living on the islands before we moved back to Spain in 22 August 2020.

All photos are taken with my iPhone 📱

Let’s start our walk around 😎

Walking through rough terrain we look back and see.
We find a pathway, it has a railing and steps going down into the #gorge. Following it all the way to the end we see this beautiful ROCKFORMATION. It looks like a window… the location is Wied Il-Mielaħ.
There is a gate that is closed off at this time. But we see steps going down all the way to the water. These are not in a good condition, so I think that is why the gate is closed at the moment.
But we can still admire these beautiful #rock #formations
It’s stunning 🤩
Walking back a little I zoom out more… 😊
Leaning over the gate, I try to photograph the waters edge… 😎 the water has such a beautiful colour 🥰
Let’s walk back over the path, one more look… click 📸
We go all the way back and decide to walk on the other side of the gorge and walk now on top of the rocks. We see here the rock formations from above.
It sure looks so different seeing the window from up here.
Sorry… hehehe 🤭 I can’t get closer to the edge as I don’t like heights, and no protection is there. 😇😎 So bear with me.
Walking further away… along the edge of the #CLIFFS.
Looking the other way as we walk along. We see:
These are high and the drop is far. If you look closely you can even see caves. 😎
Beautiful formations on this side of the island of Gozo.

I will show you in due course more of the islands of Malta 🇲🇹 😊
