This caption is not an exaggeration. Not at all.
During certain parts of the day, Seggiano could really turn into a secluded paradise. It is really possible to find a bountiful part of it only to yourself.
I will prove that bold statement of mine with a series of photographs that I took in the middle of the calm day. Now if I have to shortly describe Seggiano in geographical terms, it is a small establishment in the province of Grosseto in Tuscany, my favorite region of Italy. I did not meet many people while I was having that scenery walk and if it wasn't for the photos, I would say I met nobody but still, there was human presence now and then, just to underline the lovely feeling of it all.
I bet you'll fall in love with it just while driving to it for the first time. Even from afar, it looks magical.
The curvy mountain roads around give all sorts of perspectives and views towards it.
Yet once you are in it, that divine feeling will overwhelm you...
Of course, it is not only its beautiful stone church and bell tower.
As a "mount" city it has so many "belvedere" that hours and hours could be spent just contemplating the surrounding nature, fields and olive tree forests.
So healing...
Both for the soul and for the body...
Blessed are those living on that hill, right?
Inevitable traces of countryside agricultural activities...
Still, the air was so... delicious to breathe.
I found a feather.
I guess the local pharmacy looks like this because no one needs any medicine!
The tranquility of the place could easily be felt by all the cats I saw there.
All of them in sleep mode :)
I am fully recharged after this walk, are you?
