Argentina - Walk among the stones of the Los Elefantes Spa in Mina Clavero, Córdoba. / Paseo entre las piedras del Balneario Los Elefantes en Mina Clavero, Córdoba. 😃❤️

After having been in the mountainous area of Córdoba this summer, during the winter we had the opportunity to visit the Traslasierra valley area. The good thing about this province of Argentina is that no matter which part you choose to vacation, you will find beautiful landscapes in the surroundings. When we decided on the city of Mina Clavero for our last trip, we had the chance to visit some spas along the river, my favorite being the one called Los Elefantes ❤️.

Después de haber estado en la zona montañosa de Córdoba este verano, durante el invierno tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar la zona del valle de Traslasierra. Lo bueno de esta provincia de Argentina es que sin importar qué parte elijas para vacacionar, vas a encontrar paisajes hermosos en los alrededores. Al decidirnos por la ciudad de Mina Clavero para nuestro último viaje, tuvimos la posibilidad de visitar algunos balnearios al costado del río, siendo mi preferido este llamado Los Elefantes ❤️.

To get to this spa we had to walk about 15 blocks from where we were staying. During our week of travel most of the days were cloudy, but luckily it did not rain so we were able to make the most of our time outdoors. The good thing is that there were several good things to see that we could reach on foot, something that I always make sure that there are in the places that I go for a walk 😃.

Para llegar a este balneario tuvimos que caminar unas 15 cuadras desde donde estábamos alojados. Durante nuestra semana de viaje la mayoría de los días fueron nublados, pero por suerte no llovió así que pudimos aprovechar al máximo nuestro tiempo al aire libre. Lo bueno es que habían varias cosas buenas para ver a las que podíamos llegar a pie, algo que siempre me encargo de que haya en los lugares a los que voy a pasear 😃.

When we finally arrived, we found a totally rocky and gray landscape that mixed with the cloudy day. My dad is quite adventurous just like me so we started walking through some of the stones in search of good views of the place. Many of them were quite tall, but we still got as close as we could 😅.

Cuando al fin llegamos nos encontramos con un paisaje totalmente rocoso y gris que se mezclaba con el día nublado. Mi papá es bastante aventurero igual que yo así que nos pusimos a caminar por algunas de las piedras en busca de busca de buenas vistas del lugar. Muchas de ellas eran bastante altas, pero igual nos acercamos todo lo que pudimos 😅.

Although this place is probably even more enjoyable in the summer, visiting it in the winter wasn't too bad either. This rocky landscape was the perfect setting to sit down to rest a bit or drink some mates in company. What surprised me is that despite being quite close to a busy route, the bustle of vehicles was not heard, so it is a great option to go and relax for a while ❤️.

A pesar de que este lugar seguramente se disfruta aún más en el verano, haberlo visitado en el invierno tampoco estuvo tan mal. Este paisaje rocoso era el escenario perfecto para sentarse a descansar un poco o tomar algunos mates en compañía. Lo que me sorprendió es que a pesar de estar bastante cerca de una ruta muy transitada, no se escuchaba el bullicio de los vehículos, así que es una gran opción para ir a relajarse un rato ❤️.

Mina Clavero is one of the most important cities in the Traslasierras valley, therefore its tourist offer is quite developed. If you like to enjoy the comforts of a city with all the services, but also have the benefit of resting while looking at beautiful landscapes, this is a good option for your vacation. In addition to this one, there are other picturesque spas, but without a doubt this was my favorite 😃.

Mina Clavero es una de las ciudades más importantes del valle de Traslasierras por lo tanto su oferta turística está bastante desarrolllada. Si te gusta disfrutar de las comodidades de una ciudad con todos los servicios, pero también tener el beneficio de descansar mirando unos paisajes hermosos, esta es una buena opción para tus vacaciones. Además de este, hay otros balnearios pintorescos pero sin dudas este fue mi preferido 😃.

The part where we stayed had the river with some small waterfalls but also holes to take a dip. All these spas are located on the Mina Clavero river, which has different depths along its entire length, if you like to swim or just splash around. Surely if it were in summer I would like to stay on the flat part: I still haven't learned to swim and I don't know if I will succeed soon 😅.

La parte en la que nos quedamos tenía el río con algunas pequeñas cascadas pero también hoyas para echarse un chapuzón. Todos estos balnearios se ubican sobre el río Mina Clavero, el cual tiene distintas profundidades a lo largo de toda su extensión, por si te gusta nadar o solo chapotear. Seguramente si fuera en verano me gustaría quedarme en la parte plana: todavía sigo sin aprender a nadar y no sé si lo lograré a la brevedad 😅.

My dad, my brother and I stayed there for a long time until sunset found us. Luckily nature gave us an orange winter sunset, which made the landscape more beautiful. Even though I missed the mountains a bit, seeing this rocky, off-the-beaten-path resort was also worth it. What do you prefer, valley or mountain 😃?

Mi papá, mi hermano y yo nos quedamos un buen rato ahí hasta que nos encontró el atardecer. Por suerte la naturaleza nos regaló un anaranjado atardecer de invierno, el cual volvió más hermoso el paisaje. A pesar de que extrañé un poco las montañas, ver este balneario rocoso y fuera de lo común también valió la pena. ¿Qué prefieren ustedes, valle o montaña 😃?

As fast as the sun went down, this beautiful place became quite dark and like something out of a horror movie. There was no light, so we had to get out of there fast until total darkness overtook us. It is definitely best to go early to take advantage of as much sunlight as possible, and escape before some strange creature appears 😅.

Tan rápido como se fue yendo el sol, este lugar hermoso se fue volviendo bastante oscuro y como de película de terror. No había ninguna luz, así que tuvimos que irnos rápido de ahí hasta que nos alcanzara la oscuridad total. Definitivamente lo mejor es ir temprano para aprovechar toda la luz solar posible, y escapar antes de que alguna criatura extraña aparezca 😅.

Of all the times I've been in the province of Córdoba, this was the first time I'd been in the valley area and I really liked it. I will not deny that I missed having a hill to climb, but the beautiful spas that we visited made up for everything. This province is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful in my country Argentina, and I like that it is chosen by tourists to spend their vacations. Tourists and even for us who live here: the 900 km we traveled to get there were worth it ❤️.

De todas las veces que estuve en la provincia de Córdoba, ésta fue la primera vez que estuve en la zona del valle y me gustó bastante. No voy a negar que extrañé tener algún cerro para subir, pero los hermosos balnearios que visitamos compensaron todo. Esta provincia es sin dudas una de las más hermosas que tiene mi país Argentina, y me gusta que sea elegida por los turistas para pasar sus vacaciones. Turistas e incluso por nosotros que vivimos acá: los 900 km que viajamos para llegar hasta allá valieron la pena ❤️.
