   Morskie Oko (Eye of the Sea) , is the largest and fourth-deepest lake in the Tatra Mountains, in southern Poland. It is located deep within the Tatra National Park Valley, of the High Tatras mountain range at the base of the Mięguszowiecki Summits, in Lesser Poland Voivodeship. In 2014, The Wall Street Journal recognized the lake as one of the five most beautiful lakes in the world.
   Try this 20.8 km trail near Zakopane in Lesser Poland Voivodeship. Generally considered a challenging route, it takes an average of 6 hours to complete. 38 min. It's a very popular backpacking and hiking destination, so you're likely to bump into other people as you explore. The best time to visit this trail is from May to October.

FEW TIP:

  • The parking situation is very bad, if you arrive around 8 o'clock, buying tickets online will save you time and nerves;
  • Remember that you have to walk about 10.5 km up and down the asphalt. Another option is to take a horse-drawn carriage ride;
  • When climbing from the second lake to the top of the mountain, have proper hiking boots;
  • Drink plenty of water, which you will need.
