“Agia Triada” A historic district of Heraklion (photo story)

Only when you walk a place, can you get its vibes. It’s stories. Only when you explore, you can get the feeling, the character of a destination.

That’s what I ve been doing for my city, I walk and I discover. And then I post about it, I share the photos and try to show to anyone interested, how much there is that is not seen with the first look.

Today, I visited a seaside neighborhood that is right next to our city center

What you ll find in this area?
Little, low houses

Filled with flowers

Lots of color

And narrow streets

And not only that … beautiful street art corners

Some are brighter

And some are darker

This district ends at the sea
And you can find some dinosaurs there

And of course the sea is always a beautiful sight!

Kizil Tabia - Agia Triada: Located right inside the city walls, from Kalokairinou - Giamalaki Street and Archiepiskopou Markariou. What you will encounter is narrow lanes, small picturesque houses surrounded by green & flowers and lots of street art.
