Today our attention was drawn to the house, which is located on the corner of Ekaterininskaya and Zhukovsky streets. If you walk along Ekaterininskaya Street, this is house number 35. If you look at him from the side of Zhukovsky, then it's No. 28.
When you look at this house, first of all, two images of a woman and two men rush out. Some experts believe that one of the compositions personifies the image of urban workers, and the second - the representatives of agriculture.
Now let's pay attention to the peculiarity of windows. We raise our heads to the top - windows of a diamond-shaped kind, around which there is a skillful garland. The lower part is represented by medallions.
A bit of history
The apartment house of the respected citizen of Odessa SV Shestopal was built in the period from 1911 to 1912. The architects of this interesting construction were L. M. Chernigov and F. L. Pappa. Sculptural compositions were created by I. P. Paolini.

In one territory of one house two stores of new-fangled things peacefully got along. One belonged to Maria Valocos, and the second to the merchant of the 2nd guild, Shlio Joseph-Isaak Olshanetsky.
A dental clinic was opened in a separate room. It belonged to the London JSC Claudius Ash, Sons and Co. Here also worked as an intermediary agency, which belonged to partners Shliomov and Kamensky.

This house is famous for another outstanding tenant. From 1945 to 81 years, lived here, Professor and an outstanding scientific figure of the Ukrainian SSR Lyudmila Iosifovna Aleinikova. Her achievements in the field of medicine are difficult to underestimate. That there is only a basis in Odessa school of cardiologists.
