We have not talked about the rivers and other natural attractions of our beautiful area for a long time. Today we decided to talk about Savranka. This is the right tributary of the Southern Bug.
Geography
The river runs across the expanses of Vinnitsa and Odessa region. In particular, it is located in the South-Eastern part of the Podolsk Upland. The origins of the river in the Vinnitsa region. We are interested in that part of it, which is located on the territory of our region.
The river flows through 2 regions of the Odessa region: Baltsky and Savransky districts. It is in our Savranku 2 of the largest inflows flows. In total, it receives water from 18 small tributaries.
Near the village of Puzhaikovo (the border village of the Baltsky district) the right tributary of the Ravitsa River flows into the Savranka. Smolyanka. Between the village Osychky and smt. Savran into the river flows left tributary Yalanets. Savranka itself flows into the Southern Bug immediately after the village. Savran - at 281 km. from the mouth. The greatest width of the river is 4 km. The greatest width of the mouth is 10 meters.
Savran and Savranka
12/06/2018, we were in Savran for the last time. Previously, Savran was one of the places of my trading activity. That is, I have known this urban village for more than 15 years. It was then that I first came to this town.
Yes, unfortunately there are few man-made attractions in Savrani, but there are quite a lot of natural ones here.
I like to watch the rapid flow of Savranka, which carries its waters through this settlement. The plant in Savrani is beautiful. In summer, everything is covered with greenery.
Savranka is interesting as a place to relax. Here you can enjoy beautiful views, peace and tranquility. Separately, we note that there can always be great to fish.
Fishing
On the forums and other online resources we can see numerous reviews about the rest on the banks of Savranka. There are numerous species of fish: gold carp (fish often fall on the hook more than half a kilogram), carp (both standard and mirror species), carp, bream, pike perch, rudd, roach, perch, tench, burbot, carp and so on. Further.
I often saw fishermen returning from fishing. You can catch a couple of pounds of fish for a few hours with an ordinary float rod. I personally saw it caught, in the waters of Savranka, goldfish, weighing 400 grams, curling, weighing 2 kilograms.
When I myself went fishing (I caught on spinning and 2 float fishing rods), I got hooked: crucian carp (maximum weight 350 grams), string (weight up to 1.2 kg.), Pike perch (from one to 3 kilograms), perch (there were various copies - the maximum weight of 1 kg.), rudd and roach. I've been fishing a few times here. For all the time I was able to catch only one carp per 1.5 kg.
I recommend here to go on vacation for a few days. On the banks you can always find a place to set up a tent. In Savrani you can always buy everything you need for recreation and fishing. Products can be bought both in stores and on the market.
