The first post-war years proved to be very difficult for a pedagogical school. First of all, the absence of a material base affected. During the occupation, the fascists exported and partially destroyed many material values ​​of the school. In particular, the library was destroyed, which numbered more than 2,500 copies of various books.

But gradually the situation improved. The material base was accumulating, the number of groups increased. Accordingly, the teaching staff grew. Since 1948 the main backbone of teachers has been formed, which have worked for several decades.

Over time, the Baltic Pedagogical School becomes one of the leading educational institutions in the Northern part of the Odessa region, part of Vinnytsia, Mykolayiv and Kirovograd regions. They come here to study almost from all over Ukraine.

Pedagogical school today

Today, there are a lot of students to study here, in a variety of ways. They lead an active social life. But, I want to pay attention to the design of the patio.

By the forces of students and teaching staff, a real living space was created here. Entrance to the courtyard is guarded by majestic lions.

On both sides of the path we see amazing fountains. Each of them is unique in its own way. Just look at this beauty. Here come to rest, gain strength not only students and teachers, but also residents of the city. How nice to sit in the shade of the trees under the quiet murmur of fountains.

Well, we will not stay in one place for a long time. We move a little forward and turn right. On the left side we see a real waterfall. This artificial structure is very interesting to observe, especially when small birds begin to play near it.

Well, everything, enjoyed this beauty, it's time to return to the central alley. Returning, we do not need to turn around. Directly in front of us is a pigeon-house. In the lower part of it we see a cage with peacocks.

These birds, echoed with each other, give people incredible joy. Watching this magnificence, we feel how we are in a good mood. Frankly, you can relax here.

I return to the fountain. I sit down on the stool. I watch the play of sunlight in the placer of drops, I immerse myself in my inner world. How priyazno, here so to sit, about what serious without thinking! 10 - 20 minutes passed like one instant. Unfortunately it's time to move on.

Going beyond the pedagogical school, I turn left. After passing meters 10 - 15, I approach the monument to Taras Shevchenko. In my opinion, there is nothing surprising in the fact that the works of this great Ukrainian poet are revered here. After all, it's a pedagogical college! And the street is named after the poet!

After standing a little at the monument, I turn around and start moving in the opposite direction. That is, down the Shevchenko street. It is interesting to me to look at the building of the male gymnasium, on the territory of which, at one time, the pedagogical school was located. We will review the history of the building a little later.
