On the territory of the city of Kotovsk there are two main hospitals. About Central we have already spoken. It's time to talk about the so-called "Railway Hospital". Why the "so-called"? Let's figure it out.

Kotovsk, is a major railway junction. Near the city there is a junction. In the city itself there are two depots: locomotive and carriage. In addition, we have a large park. Here are layouts. It is important that trains depart from our station to different locations in the country. International railway routes pass through Kotovsk station.
As you understand, a large number of railway workers work in the city. At the same time, people work here not only from the city and district, but also from neighboring regions. In particular, from Slobodka, Kodyma, Balta and so on. Accordingly, there is nothing surprising in the fact that in Kotovsk they decided to open a hospital for railway workers. Important! Not only for those who worked on the Railway, but also for their families (wives / husbands and children). Here they passed a medical examination.
It was a full-cycle hospital. That is, diagnostics and examinations were carried out in the Polyclinic. If necessary, they were sent to the hospital. This concerned both treatment and full examination. Here specialists of various directions worked. Moreover, many of them were doctors of the highest category.
Here, the railroad received a completely free treatment. Many drugs were sold at preferential prices.
Hospital today
After the health care reform was launched in the country, the hospital was "redeveloped." In particular, it made the district. All railway workers were transferred to whom. Those who live in the city - in the city (former CRH), and those in the area - in the newly formed. Those who live outside the Kotovsky district are now sent to the place of residence. True, there are no hospitals everywhere. For example, everyone who lives in the village Slobidka in the hospital must go to Kodyma. You understand that if the guys work in Kotovsk, they obviously cannot ride in Kodyma. In addition, from Slobidka to Kodyma can only be reached by train. And this is the loss of a whole day.
Yes, at the moment it has become somewhat more convenient for the residents of the district. They come to their hospital. But, oddly enough, now in the District Hospital it is not always possible to pass all tests and conduct a full examination. Often it is necessary to run between two city hospitals.
There are positive aspects to the health care reform in Kotovsk. In particular, young specialists began to be invited to the district hospital. Many received housing. Especially family. There are whole young families of doctors in the hospital.
Thus, at the moment there are 2 hospitals in the city. One refers to the city, and the second - to the area. In addition, private offices of doctors of various directions function in Kotovsk!
