Any city starts from the Railway Station. It can be either railway or bus station. Today I will tell you about the bus station of my hometown.

In Soviet times, the station was the starting point for many citizens of our city. Through Kotovsk, long-distance flights passed. Including, buses stop from abroad. I often go by bus from Chisinau. On this flight (Chisinau - Nikolaev) I get to the Red Windows (now simply: Windows).

Our bus station is the starting point for buses that go to Kiev, Odessa, Baltu, Krivoye Ozero, Nikolaev and so on. The density of the graph is quite high.

A little sadness

Previously, all this large building, which you see in the photos, belonged to the Bus Station. For buses, a bus fleet was established, located on the street. 50 years of October (now: Cathedral). Almost every platform has always been busy.

But alas, time does not stand still. Due to certain difficulties, the building of the bus station was sold. Now there is a supermarket "ATB". A small room was allocated for cash. On weekdays, the large platform of the bus station is almost empty.

The main flights depart in the morning. Towards evening some return to the city. Some come closer to the morning.

Location and surroundings

The bus station is located on the territory of the "Cheryomushki" microdistrict. If you go by taxi, this stop is called: "Bus station". Bypass all the shuttles of the city. The fare is 4 hryvnia.

Near the bus station you can always hire a taxi that will deliver anywhere in the city and district. The cost of the trip is from 40 UAH one way.

Near the bus station is a small but cozy park. Previously, there were installed benches and it was nice to relax in the shade of trees. Here grow, mainly, nuts, chestnuts and conifers.

A large number of shops are located opposite the platform. However, there is only one grocery store - Sadko. But, this situation is easily corrected by "ATB".

In front of the building is the hairdressing salon "Lucky" and the restaurant "Bavaria". By the way, the restaurant is located under one roof with a cafe "Lada", the entrance from the street. Cathedral. In these institutions, guests of our city can always eat delicious. In the cafe prices are slightly lower than in the restaurant.

Near the Bus station is an entertainment complex, with a sauna, "Bermuda". Here you can relax after a long journey.

I do not know how to whom, but personally I like to rest in the shade of trees.
