The plan was to visit a school supply store in Carbon Market but we spotted Freedom Park which was new to us, we were surprised as we saw no more vendors in that part opposite to San Jose Recoletos University so we thought we should park nearby the area and then try to roam around, take photos, before heading to the school supply store but then, parking was really challenging here.
We ended up going around the market but to no avail. We headed to the back of the market until we found ourselves in Plaza Independencia. We believe there are parking spaces nearby so we drove to the back part where there were cars parked and finally, after more than 15 minutes of driving, we settled in one available parking space. Thank goodness!
Our original plans were changed, we decided to just stay at the park, perhaps check out Fort San Pedro too but we were entertained by the many people, mostly young ones who were practicing their school performances, there were some groups who were dancing, some were reciting a poem, some were painting on the ground, while others were just there filming their Tiktok moves.
My husband decided to go somewhere near the Quezon Boulevard while Matti and I looked for a shaded area, we were at the Fort San Pedro ground, munching on some unhealthy snacks while waiting for the husband to return.
He came back with these photos. He loves playing with shadows and light. His photos are usually showing images of people in mysterious ways, he doesn't like to show faces unlike me. Anyway, that's it. Thanks for reading this!
